Big day tomorrow

Tomorrow is Logan's 4th birthday. I can't believe it. At this time four years ago I was at the Maternal Fetal Medicine unit at UTMB having, yet another ultrasound. I had only just learned 6 days before that the little girl I was carrying was actually a boy! My main concern during this ultrasound was to make sure that the little boy was still a boy! HAHA. As with most of my appointments, JR wasn't able to go with me...so my friend Delicia went. It was crazy to see such a clear picture of Logan's face...and even crazier that I thought he looked just like JR - even in the womb! He was weighing at over 10 pounds, and I was told it could be off by a pound either way. Logan still hadn't dropped at this point and there seemed to be a lot of measurements of his head size. So a few hours later I got the call from my doctor to come in the next morning for a c-section. Apparently his head was to large to fit into the birth canal. She gave me the option of waiting another week but he would only get bigger...and the risk of complications would only get higher...so I told her I would see her the next day! I called my parents to let them know...and told my friends...and well - the rest you will have to wait for until tomorrow!
JR's back seems to be getting better. He is using Landry's boppy for his driving, I guess its helping to support the lower back. Yesterday he came home and actually went for a little run/walk. So it must be feeling much better. He is going to the doctor tomorrow and hopefully they can do something for him. He was really funny yesterday though, I guess he gained a pound and started to kind of freaked out - which is why I think he decided to run yesterday...He informed me that if he gained another pound we were going back to cycle 1! LOL Apparently, when he stepped on the scale this morning he had lost the pound he gained. He now weighs 331. I seriously can't believe that he has lost 40 pounds. It is truly amazing...especially since it has all been from a change in diet and portion control...I keep telling him that if he adds in some exercise it might ramp up the loss...but his back has been hurting so he always has an excuse...I think that 1 pound weight gain was just what he needed to find the motivation. I am hoping that he will run today and maybe tomorrow and see about a 5 pound loss....that would help him with the motivation, and then he would just keep running! He still has 80 pounds to lose to get to his goal weight...I am hoping he will lose another 90 or so. But 80 would be awesome...and considering he started off with 120 to lose he is already 1/3 of the way there! Woohoo! Go JR...
What I find crazier than anything is the fact that he has lost 40 pounds and some people cant even tell! Geez! How does someone lose 40 pounds and it go unnoticed! CRAZY!
