Today is going to be a busy one...It's Thursday - which means its t-ball practice today at 6:00. I think I have finally caught on as far as making dinner ahead of time so that after practice we can just pop it in the microwave and VOILA! Done! Logan passed out last night at 8:15 and didn't get up until 8:30 this morning - so I guess he was tired from all that playing yesterday...BUT last night was bath night and unfortunately Logan didn't get his! After dinner, he wanted to play with his friends, so he went off to play and JR went out to watch him, while I finished putting the food away, and doing dishes. Then I got Landry in the tub and put her down at 8:00. By the time I got her out of the bath, Logan was just coming in. My plan was to put her to bed, fold the laundry, and get Logan in the bath tub. But by the time I put her down Logan was OUT like a light.
So this morning, we ate breakfast, and then I told Logan he needed to get a bath - which he answered, "I didn't pee in the bed" LOL The kid thinks that the only time he takes a bath in the morning is if he has an accident...Too funny. Of course, Landry wanted to climb in the tub with Logan, so I just let her have another bath - whatever...it never hurts to be extra clean! Now Landry is laying down for a nap even thought it's 5 minutes until 11...but I need her to take the nap now because we have to leave for San Marcos no later than 1:00 and if she is trying to drop that second nap - at least this will giver her two hours of sleep...oh man- its going to be rough today that is for sure. Logan's appointment is at 2:00 and he will be getting 3 immunization shots today. I am so scared. It was one thing for him to get them at 2 but - this is going to be even harder. I wonder if they can just get 3 nurses to inject the shots all at the same time because I really dont think he is going to sit after the first one...he is going to be running and screaming - oh Lord, I will need some help today. I also have to go over to the Jewelry store to pick up my necklace from being repaired and I am going to try and buy some size adjusters for JR's ring as a temporary fix. Then I think we are going to get him a new ring - and we are still debating how we are going to do this. Part of him wants to get the same one he has in his new size - but then he still has a lot of weight to lose and we would have ot by another one later, or he may just use adjusters until he has reached or is close enough to his goal weight and then buy it....OR I was thinking he could pick out another ring that is made of a different metal and we can just get it resized as needed...BUT he made a good point that we chose the titanium because of his line of work - it doesn't lose its luster or get scratched up. So for now we are going to use the adjusters and keep thinking on it. Maybe by Christmas he will be at his goal weight and we can get him a new one...hopefully earlier than Christmas - but we will see.
After the jewelry store, I still need to finish up my shopping at HEB that I didn't finish up yesterday...but I may wait until after practice to get that done so that I dont have to go with the kids.
Anyway - I am SCARED about taking him to the doctor today...I really wish JR was here to help...and to think - I get to do it all over again in about 3 weeks when I take Landry to the doctor for her 18 month checkup...she will need shots too, since I opted out of getting them at her 15 month checkup! ughhh Luckily she will take it a little better than I think Logan will - plus I only have to get hers done at 18 months and again at 2...and then not again until she is 4...and with Logan I have to get his done today and then not again until he is 11 (I think - if I am reading it correctly) So I am trying to think on the positive side....only a few more immunizations and then we are done - I wont have to do this ANYMORE. Hooray! Wish me luck guys!

Confusion
Okay moms...I need suggestions -
Landry has been taking two naps a day and I love it. Her naps are never more than 1.5 hours so I get to play with her plenty during the day and I get a small break twice a day to get some things day. Her 1st nap is about 1.5 hours and the second is usually about an hour. I have been getting the "how many naps does she take" question a lot lately, and I always say that I am not ready for her to give up that second nap just yet...now I dont know if its really up to me! LOL
On Monday, I thought - here we are - she is ready to go down to one nap. She fell asleep around 11:45 and slept until 3:00 - 3 hours and 15 min....Holy Cow...so I was really nervous about what time to put her to bed. One thing I did with Logan was I did things based on his need for something. If he was sleepy - I put him to sleep. I only fed him if he showeed me he was hungry...I never did things on a timed schedule. This led to him staying up all night - NOT FUN. So with Landry, I put her on a schedule. I still fed her only when she was hungry, but it just happened to fall into a rythym that went with her sleep schedule. Anyway, I put her to bed at 8:00 on Monday even though her bedtime is usually 8:30. But she was so cranky and acting sleepy, so I put her down. All was well...in fact she slept in a little - all the way to 8:00 am.
Yesterday (Tuesday) - She was acting tired, so I put her down at 11:30 (normal nap time). She was awake at 12:45...so I thought, well, maybe she isn't ready to go to one nap a day. I put her down at 4:00 (normal nap 2 time) she slept until 4:55. She went to bed at her normal bedtime at 8:30 and slept until 7:45 this morning.
Today - she was so cranky at about 10:45 - screaming her lungs out in the car, then all through HEB, and finally at 11:30 I picked her up and carried her through the store while I shopped. She was out in about 30 seconds...which is CRAZY - because she never falls asleep in my arms...She ONLY sleeps in her crib and in the carseat. She slept the rest of the way through the store, then in her carseat on the way home, and then I put her in her crib when we arrived home. It is now 2:25 and she is still sleeping!!!!
So is she trying to get rid of her second nap?? Is this some kind of growth spurt thing??? I AM SO CONFUSED! What is going on???
The other confusion happening in my house is LOGAN - My poor kid has toy ADD. He got so much for his birthday that he has no idea what to do with himself. He starts off playing with one toy and then gets sidetracked when he passes another toy and starts playing with that. He was playing with his "monster truck mater with the remote control" (sorry but you have to say the whole thing! LOL) and saw his lite brite, so we made some fireworks...except we got half way there before the play-doh caught his attention, so he abandoned me for the play-doh...of course with my OCD - I had to finish the fireworks! LOL So now he has been playing with the play-doh for about 45 minutes (its a record). Although we did play with it last night for over an hour - so thanks Nikki...the play-doh is a big hit! One thing I have learned however, is he takes after his mom in this department - no creativity what-so-ever! LOL I think we have made 949 snakes so far and that is all...unless you count the cutouts! And AGAIN...my OCD is nuts because I dont want the colors to mix - even though I KNOW that it wont matter to him if the do! LOL

Sorry...one more...
Okay - so I hate to write post after post about weight loss and stuff...but this will be short... JR can no longer wear his wedding ring...it falls off all the time, and he doesn't want to lose it so he took it off yesterday. The problem is, we got a titanium ring for him, and they wont size it because apparently the metal is so strong or something like that...I hate the idea of him going without a ring, so I was thinking that I would go by him a new one...but if he still has 75 pounds to lose, I dont want to have to buy one now, and again in another 6 weeks and another 6 weeks from then...OR I guess I could by a ring that could be sized....????hmmmm What to do?

Proud
First, I would like to say that JR got on the scale yesterday and weighed in at 325...this means he has lost 50 pounds since Valentine's Day....and if you remember he was finally on the scale on March 13, and therefore has lost 15 pounds since then....which is basically a pound a day. He said he wanted to be 290 by his birthday (May 13) but now he has changed it to 275. I tell him he needs to make a goal and stick with it...not change it accordingly. His original goal is 290, so that is what he should strive for, and if he gets down belown that then awesome...I just dont want the weight loss to slow down and then him get discouraged when he doesn't hit a goal. There are 6 weeks until his birthday so if he continues to lose a pound a day, he should easily make 290 in fact he should be about 280...
His total goal weight is to get down to 250...I honestly cant imagine him at 250...of course I couldn't really imagine him at 325, and here he is. Can you believe that if he gets to his goal weight, he would have lost 125 pounds??? That is seriously NUTS.
His back seems to be improving, and I am hoping that it heals properly and that maybe I can get him out walking or jogging with me, or even on his own...I just think that if he can drop a pound a day after 6 weeks of healthy food choices...he could probably amp that up to 2-3 pounds a day by adding some exercise. Anyway...my point is, I am so PROUD of my husband. He has such determination...he never cheats on his diet...even this weekend he didn't have any pizza at the pizza party...just salad...then he had turkey and sausage at the BBQ place...so technically I guess he cheated a little...he ate two pieces of his sausage and gave the rest to the kids...but he stayed with it by eating the turkey - and by not over-eating. I tried not to cheat...but it lasted all of 5 minutes before I had pizza on a plate and I was stuffing myself at Railroad BBQ! LOL
I always convince myself that it will be okay because I can just run off the calories that I eat when I cheat...but then after I have eaten I realize that the YES, I can work off the calories...but I can't clean out the gunk that I just put in my arteries, or the crap that is helping my fat cells expand! LOL So while Jr is still losing a pound a day...I put on a 1.5 pounds this weekend! Hahaha....It looks like this keeps happening...I get to 132, then gain a pound or two, get back to 132, then gain...Oh well - maybe I can talk JR into letting me get that surgery for Christmas!!! It will only be a few months early!!

the rest of the weekend
First, let me note, that I have changed the settings on my blog to where it is back open to the public...I figure enough time has passed to where certain people will not think to come back and check it and I will also try to be more concious of what I say on here. This may be a little hard for me, because this truly is like a journal for me...its a place to vent - open up and share my feelings. Sometimes, I get upset about something and just need to say what I am thinking at the moment, but once I get it out, I feel better - so with all this said...I am going to finish up my earlier post.
The girls and I drank some good wine and had some great adult conversations. Then about 5:45 we got ready to head out to the Salt Lick in Driftwood. We were meeting my parents there but had to make a quick stop at the liqour store for more wine and beer. By the time we got there my parents had called to tell us about the 2 hour wait...yuck. Normally we would have waited but we had babies that we needed to think about. Landry would have been a monster had we kept her out that late. So we opted to head back to town and try a different BBQ joint. Of course as I mentioned earlier, this didn't work out because they were having a crawfish boil. My mom didn't want to sit outside, and there really wasn't a place for us to sit considering we had a group of 16. So we left and went a mile up the road to yet another BBQ place...and it turned out to be awesome. After dinner we all came back to my house for a game of apples to apples. There were 11 people playing, and I have to say that it was HILARIOUS. My dad cracks me up. I love being around him in these types of settings...its like his personality gets amped up and I love it. I am still wondering how in the world Aiden and Landry slept through the night since we were SO VERY LOUD...well actually, poor Aiden didn't get to sleep through the night since the kids went back to the room he was staying in and turned on the light - waking the poor guy up. Oh man I was so mad...but Nikki and Travis were so easy going about the whole thing - and I guess it was okay becuase Aiden went back to sleep - but man I was I ticked at those kids. It did calm me down to see Nikki and Travis so calm about it. I dont know how I would have reacted if some kids went and woke up my baby...but I guarantee it wouldn't have been anywhere near as nice as they were. LOL Another sign of my lovely anxiety. We all stayed up until after 1:00am playing...whew! It was a really great time. The next morning I woke up to find Landry in her high chair (Thank you, Nikki) luckily I didn't sleep much later than when she woke up or I would have felt REALLY bad. Landry'r room is on the complete opposite side of the house, so there was no way for me to hear her...I usually sleep in the room next to hers...and I am usually up before she is - so it was weird not being able to hear her. I woke up JR, who went to the kitchen to make breakfast! Yummmmmmmy! Toast, fresh strawberries, turkey bacon, and southwest style eggs! Carol and Brittany got on the road first...probably around 10 or 10:30 and then The Ward Family left around 11 - 11:30. I was sad to see them all go - but I was so happy to have had them all here. The rest of Sunday was spent lounging around the house...I watched "Life as a House" and bawled my eyes out...then I watched "The Last Song" and bawled some more...and then to top it all off I watched "Army Wives" and Bawled even more. My whole face was bright red...it was awful. I woke up this morning with the puffiest eyes ever! It was NUTS....I looked like I had two black eyes...this is the first time my eyes have ever been swollen with dark circles under them - so I guess I am getting older! LOL
Geez Louis!!! All in All.....best weekend of the year - so far!

Most amazing weekend
This weekend we had a full house. It was Logan's 1st T-ball games and his 4th birthday celebration. We all had so much fun, I really just can't get over how smooth everything went. Well - there was one hitch....dinner Saturday night. We really wanted to take everyone out to Salt Lick...the most awesome BBQ in the state of Texas. We got out there and there was a 2 hour wait, so we headed back into town and tried a place called Milts...I am not a big fan of the place, but JR reminded me that it was BYOB and we already had alcohol in the cooler since the Salt Lick is also BYOB. I had my head wrapped around the idea of BBQ so I said okay. JR called ahead and they said they had room for a group of 16, but when we got there it was packed due to the fact they were having a crawfish boil. I had to pee so bad and I was so irritated because I felt so bad about the whole situation. So we circled the wagons and headed back up the road less than a mile to try out Railroad BBQ which is also BYOB. Pretty much all of the restaurants here are BYOB...its the hill country - also known as Hillbilly country! LOL I was really glad the place was empty when we got there and that it turned out they had some really great food! So I guess if that was the biggest problem we had...things were pretty amazing!
Friday night, the Ward family as well as Jason and Davin (my brother-in-law and nephew) came into town around 9:30 and 10. We stayed up for a little bit, and chatted. Nikki and I shared a glass of wine and caught up while the boys watched basketball and did the general manly grunting. We got up early the next morning and headed out to Logan's T-ball game. I was pretty busy worrying about Logan that I didn't really notice all that much during the game, except what he was doing. On top of that my mom kept calling me to yell at me for not being able to find the baseball fields. I gave her directions from yahoo maps, I tried to talk her through it on the phone...nothing worked and she was mad and I wasn't wanting to talk to her. She was irritating me while I was trying to watch my sons first game - ughh! Anyway, they ended up finding the field as we were heading back to the car AFTER the game. I was so excited to have so many people there because I didn't have to worry about Landry at all...there were at least 2 people with her at all times while JR and I dealt with Logan. I dont know what I am going to do next week! LOL Logan seems to work best when he is bribed - haha...Carol (JR's mom) had apparently bought a bunch of bubble gum that JR was using to bribe him to do things...the only problem was JR didn't realize it was gum. He thought it was candy, so Logan kept swallowing it! LOVELY!
After the game, we came back to the house to relax for a few minutes and chat. We did that for almost an hour before loading up again and heading into Austin for Gatti Town. I was really nervous about all of it because nothing had really been PLANNED. JR said he wanted to take care of everything this year...I have a problem with some control issues so this was very difficult. I wanted a reservation, and party plan...the whole nine yards. JR wanted to just show up and order several pizza's for everyone and then let everyone go to the game room. First let me say I haven't been to Gatti Town since a friends birthday party in 5th grade....it was much different back then. I thought the game room would be like it used to be...pretty much just arcade games. Anyway, I am getting ahead of myself. On the way there, JR said something as a joke to me and I told him not to joke because I was really worried. I asked if he had even called the place to see if you could buy whole pizzas..he said no - and I responded with, so what if we get there and have to pay for a buffet for everyone...he assured me that wasn't the case and to relax. We got there and guess what...you had to pay for a buffet for each person! Ha. All in all, it actually worked out better, #1 everyone could eat whatever kind of pizza was out, plus the desserts, and salad bar #2 they could have unlimited amounts #3 it ended up being cheaper than what the actualy party package would have been. So kuddos to my husband for not stressing about plans. For some crazy reason things always work out for him...if it had been me...well it would have been another story. Logan watched Scooby Doo the entire time he ate his pizza..it was great - and I caught several of the adults getting pretty engaged in the show as well. LOL Brittany and Carol (my mother-in-law and sister-in-law) brought tons of cupcakes, a cupcake rack, balloons with Logan's name, a giant balloon in the shape of a 4...they came prepared to decorate for a party LOL. It was AWESOME. After everyone ate we took the kids to the game room...and let me just say..this place was NUTS...there were bumper cars, and actual amusement ride, air hockey, carnival games, the basketball shooting game, regular arcade games....they had EVERYTHING. JR put $10 on the game card...and apparently that lasted for quite a while (the entire time) until I put an extra $2 so we could get in the photo booth. I was a little bummed that everyone had to pay for there own games...I really wanted to do that for everyone...it was part of the party package..but in the party package only kids were allowed to get a game card for $5, so I guess it wouldn't have worked out anyway. Plus, I dont think anyone minded all that much, but still I felt kind of bad. So i finally rounded everyone up so we could open presents...it was getting late, Landry was getting sleepy - and I knew for a FACT that Aiden would have no problem sleeping under the table if his parents would let him...the poor little guy was such a trooper. Logan, hit the jackpot - he had so many gifts! I was literally in awe of how wonderful it was to have so many people there and celebrating with us. We had a lot of friends and family that came in from the Houston area and it warmed my heart to have them with us. After all the gifts were open people went back to the game room for a bit. After about 15 minutes I went to tell JR to hurry and use up the rest of the money on the game card so we could pay the bill and go. 20 minutes later I was getting a little antsy. Another 20 minutes later I could feel the walls closing in. Anxiety was setting in, and we really needed to get out of there. After another 15 minutes we finally paid the bill and said goodbyes and headed for the car...then I had a small panic attack and by the time I got home was all better. We put the babies and Logan to bed. The guys went back to watching tv. Brittany and Carol took a nap and Dana, Nikki, and I drank some wine!
I will finish the rest later - this is becoming a novel and I need to get back to being a mom!

Days go by...
Yesterday was Logan's fourth birthday! He was so cute, he woke up, announced himself and asked where everyone was. I guess JR and I weren't very clear when we told him all these people were coming for his birthday...we should have said party!!! LOL I explained that they would be here on Friday night and Saturday morning. The next thing out of his mouth was that he wanted to go to the Disney store to get his remote control monster truck Mater - OMG! So I started doing some things around the house, and trying to distact him - but the kids went to his room put on new undies, shorts, and socks...and came back to ask me to help him reach a shirt. I asked why he was getting dressed, and he said he was getting ready to go to the disney store! LOL So I HAD to take him. Plus, I needed to get my rings inspected anyway and I have been putting it off for a while now, so I said - lets go. He got a $10 monster truck mater because they didn't have the one with the remote control...it is only available online. At first he was so excited, but by the time we got home, he kept telling me that I got the wrong one...he needs the one with the remote. So, I took it from him and told him I was going to give it to a little boy who would love it and play with it. About 5 minutes later he asked me for it back, I told him it wasn't his anymore and he said, "mommy, please, I love him!" So I said okay and tried to give him a little talk about being ungrateful - I doubt he got that whole thing, but what ever. Later I talked to Brittany (JR's sister) who informed me that she and Carol (JR's mom) were going to go in half for the Monster Truck Mater with the remote control...I told her to contact a few other people and go in thirds or fourths because $50 plus shipping was far to much to pay for a toy...but she said it went on sale and was only $35! So woohoo. I still think its a little pricey, but she said she would talk to Jason (JR's brother) and see if they wanted to chip in...which makes me feel better. I just figure that everyone coming is a really big gift in itself. Not to mention the money they have to spend to travel...I just hate for them to spend too much money on my kid. It was a really good day yesterday, Logan was sweet and fun and hasn't stopped playing with the truck...JR brought him home some magnetic iron man toy and that was a big hit! My dad called to tell me he was at Wal-Mart and couldn't find any Maters....LOL - to hear my dad say it...trust me - its funny. He said he was headed to Targer to look some more...I told him it could be anything...Lightning, spiderman, Toy Story, Ironman, Batman...anything as long as it didn't have small parts that Landry could choke on! I am really excited about his party...he talks about it all the time.."Pizza Party" LOL
JR said on his facebook yesterday that Logan was his first miracle...well I am going to amend that. JR was my first miracle, Logan was my second, and Landry my third. I am so proud to be his mom - he is so wonderful!

Big day tomorrow
Tomorrow is Logan's 4th birthday. I can't believe it. At this time four years ago I was at the Maternal Fetal Medicine unit at UTMB having, yet another ultrasound. I had only just learned 6 days before that the little girl I was carrying was actually a boy! My main concern during this ultrasound was to make sure that the little boy was still a boy! HAHA. As with most of my appointments, JR wasn't able to go with me...so my friend Delicia went. It was crazy to see such a clear picture of Logan's face...and even crazier that I thought he looked just like JR - even in the womb! He was weighing at over 10 pounds, and I was told it could be off by a pound either way. Logan still hadn't dropped at this point and there seemed to be a lot of measurements of his head size. So a few hours later I got the call from my doctor to come in the next morning for a c-section. Apparently his head was to large to fit into the birth canal. She gave me the option of waiting another week but he would only get bigger...and the risk of complications would only get higher...so I told her I would see her the next day! I called my parents to let them know...and told my friends...and well - the rest you will have to wait for until tomorrow!
JR's back seems to be getting better. He is using Landry's boppy for his driving, I guess its helping to support the lower back. Yesterday he came home and actually went for a little run/walk. So it must be feeling much better. He is going to the doctor tomorrow and hopefully they can do something for him. He was really funny yesterday though, I guess he gained a pound and started to kind of freaked out - which is why I think he decided to run yesterday...He informed me that if he gained another pound we were going back to cycle 1! LOL Apparently, when he stepped on the scale this morning he had lost the pound he gained. He now weighs 331. I seriously can't believe that he has lost 40 pounds. It is truly amazing...especially since it has all been from a change in diet and portion control...I keep telling him that if he adds in some exercise it might ramp up the loss...but his back has been hurting so he always has an excuse...I think that 1 pound weight gain was just what he needed to find the motivation. I am hoping that he will run today and maybe tomorrow and see about a 5 pound loss....that would help him with the motivation, and then he would just keep running! He still has 80 pounds to lose to get to his goal weight...I am hoping he will lose another 90 or so. But 80 would be awesome...and considering he started off with 120 to lose he is already 1/3 of the way there! Woohoo! Go JR...
What I find crazier than anything is the fact that he has lost 40 pounds and some people cant even tell! Geez! How does someone lose 40 pounds and it go unnoticed! CRAZY!

Birthday excitement
Logan is in full-on birthday mode. At 1, 2, and 3 - I dont think he really understood the concept of his birthday...then again, we didn't do anything super special for his 2nd and 3rd birthdays. The past couple of weeks we have been talking about his birthday and how our friends and family are going to come and stay with us to celebreate his special day! We went through some photos on facebook so he could remember the names of everyone...he was so funny talking about each person and he started to tell us what they were going to get him...I dont remember it specifically, but it was kind of like - "that's grandma...she's coming to see me for my birthday, I'm going to be 4. She is going to bring me a lightning McQueen present!" It was the same speech for every person, only a different gift. I laughed and laughed. He has been naming off things he wants all weekend - while I am so happy to see him excited...it's starting to wear on me a little! LOL
In my previous post I told you that my parents watched the kids on Saturday night. On sunday, Logan woke up and said, Mommy, we need to go to the store. I asked what we needed from the store and he told me he needed to get his monster truck Mater. He went on to tell me that it had a remote control for the tires and all sorts of stuff. I shrugged it off and went about my day. Finally last night, he was still talking about this dang thing so I asked...where did you hear about this monster truck mater? He looked at me like I was the crazy one, and said, "My papaw is getting it for me for my birthday!" So I called my dad - because I was thinking...crap - where are we ever going to find a MONSTER TRUCK that is also MATER? My dad just laughed and said Logan was telling him all about it, but he didn't say he would get it for him...geez! As the night went on...I asked Logan what store he saw it at...he says, "Oh my God, mommy! I will show you." He goes over to JR, who is on the computer, and says, "daddy, excuse me, but I need to look at something really fast!" This is hilarious, because JR says this to Logan ALL THE TIME! He gets on the computer, pulls up disney.com, goes to the "store" and low and behold---there is a freaking remote control Monster Truck Mater! It's also 50 bucks...he tells us we have to watch the video...and it talks all about the remote and the tires, and all the things Logan has been telling us about all day. This kid is nuts! LOL
JR and I decided to get him a bike for his birthday because he has been playing with the neighbors quite a bit lately...it's so cute...he says - mommy, I need to play with my friends! I love it. Anyway they have bikes and we spent this past week trying to teach Logan how to pedal...he has it down, but he still doesn't have the leg strength to go up the hill...only down - and on top of that...he is very cautious. I asked JR if we could get him a helmet...and JR laughed at me - he said he had training wheels AND Logan goes as slow as a snail...but I am still going to try and talk him into it! Its pretty funny to watch him go so slow.
I am going to do something I shouldn't today...I am going to take the kids to the outlet mall. There is a Disney Store there, and I am going to go see if they have one of the Mater monster trucks...This is going to be a disaster...but I am going to do it anyway. I am really hoping to find one or at least something else he will like that is more in the $20 price range. I told JR that it was to make up for giving him the shaft the last two years....although now that I think about it...I buy him new toys all year round...so is he really getting the shaft??? I think not - the kid is pretty lucky. Anyway - I am off...enjoy your Monday!

Date night and recovery
JR and I went out to Texas Land & Cattle for dinner last night...it's sort of becoming tradition as we ate there last year on our anniversary as well! We both pretty much stayed on our diet, except I had bacon wrapped sirloin and it was AMAZING. We also had a glass of wine which was REALLY good. Afterwards - I had dessert! LOL I decided to go with cheesecake because they are usually smaller slices than the chocolate cake - but this thing was HUGE. I ate about half of it and brought the rest home to give to my parents...who wouldn't take it - so now its in my refrigerator calling to me! haha. After dinner we went to a place called the "Stardust" It's just a little dive bar that we have been to a few times. We met up with a few friends, and had a few drinks and headed home. It was great to be home by 10...I say that now, but last night I was really wishing we could stay out! LOL That was the rum talking. This morning, I am thankful that we needed to relieve my parents at 10...otherwise I would be over the toilet right now. Seriously, when you go without drinking for a little while, your tolerance isn't what it used to be. I should have learned my lesson with pregnancy but there is something about being at a bar where you automatically revert back to college days and you think you can drink more than you really can. I had a glass of wine with dinner and 2 rum and cokes at the bar...and well, it was enough to do the trick! It was really great to catch up with some friends and it was truly the perfect night. Both kids were asleep when we got home and my parents said that they were angels. I had told my parents before I left that if Logan got into a mood he could get on the computer so they wouldn't have to deal with him...but mom said he played with Papaw pretty much until he passed out at 8:30 and Landry went down without a problem as well. She never has a problem going down for us, but the last time my parents watched her she wouldn't sleep - of course that was about 5 months ago and she was at their house in the travel crib..which she HATES - so I was a little worried that she might have a problem with my parents putting her down....but NOPE - she was great. I was so happy to hear my parents say how wonderful they were and how Logan used his manners always saying yes SIR and MA'AM. Usually I get "the look" from my mom about Logan and his behavior - so it really was perfect. It's so funny, because I can't tell what my mom thinks of my parenting...half the time she is telling me I am too strict, the other half she is telling me that I need to get him under control and I am a push over! LOL You gotta love my mom! It was a special surprise that my dad came with my mom to babysit...mom said that she even got my dad to turn off the basketball games and they watch the movie "Grown Ups" - so even though they had the kids, they kind of got a mini movie date night - Haha! I like seeing my parents do stuff together, even if the thing they are doing is babysitting - or just watching a movie together. It really is rare to see them together, so it's heart warming when it happens!

Date Night..
I know I said that when I started running I was going to try to go Monday - Saturday...unfortunately, no amount of motivation in the world has been able to get me up and out the door on Saturday mornings. So this week, I decided that I would try to trick my brain. First, I wasn't getting up before 8:00. Second, Saturdays would be walking days...so somehow it worked I did a fast paced walk...I even downloaded a new app to help track my distance, pace, and burned calories. I walked 2.1 miles in 31 minutes and oddly enough, by the time I got to 1.5 miles I was really ready to run...but I held myself back, because I set up a program that I would like to try out. When I got home, I did a 20 minute non-stop circuit workout...abs, arms, and legs - and now I am feeling giggly - LOL!
Tomorrow is picture day and the beginning of cycle 3...I doubt there will be any noticeable change in my belly fat, but none-the-less, I am going to keep it up, and continue to take the photos every 17 days...maybe it will be so slight, that after 4 or 5 rounds, I will be like - whoa...it is going away! Hey, a girl can dream. JR made a funny comment that we would finally have the bodies we wanted...but its too bad we wont get them until AFTER the summer. Humph...of course! JR is on course, and depending on tomorrow's weigh in, he will most likely have drooped another 8 pounds over the course of this week alone. His back is totally screwed up. He had a doctors appointment for lst Wednesday but because it started feeling a little better he cancelled it on to wake up on Friday in intense pain. SO, he made another appointment for this coming Wednesday. He went to the hospital yesterday to get x-rays, and those seem to look okay, so it is probably as I said...sciatica. The man has NEVER been to the doctor, at least not since we have been together in over 5 years. I asked when the last time he went to the doctor and he told me it was about 8 years ago when he was so sick he had to go to the ER. Geez! I am not one for going to the doctor either, but I believe in going at least once a year for a check-up and physical which I try to fit in at the same time as my woman's exam! So, anyhow, I am sure the doctor will refer him to a chiropractor - but we will see.
Tonight is our date night, I dont know where we are going or what he has planned, but my mom should be here around 6 to take care of the kids. I am going to try to order things that stay as close to our diet as possible, but I plan on drinking some wine AND eating some chocolate cake! LOL
We are also planning a trip to Louisiana on April 16. It will just be an overnight gambling trip and it looks like some other friends will be joining us, so if any of you are interested...let me know. Logan's game that morning is at 9 and we will get on the road directly after that. drop the kids off in Houston with JR's mom, and continue on to LA. Stay the night and head back on Sunday! I am so excited for a mini getaway!!!
Hope everyone has a terrific weekend!!!

My anniversary!!!
Okay - here's a lot about nothing and a little about something!
Today is JR's and my anniversary. I seriously can't believe that we were married two years ago today. It just doesn't seem that long ago. JR and I didn't exactly do things the way I would like my kids to do it. For all the "modern" ways JR and I have lived, I am actually pretty traditional. JR and I met 10 years ago at a big party I threw out in Galveston. We were both going to school at A&M Galveston....well he was going to school - I was enrolled but not too interested in actually attending classes! LOL We didn't really get to know each other, but oddly enough we ran in the same circle of friends. Then 6 years ago, I moved back to Galveston after a bad break up, vowing to spend the next year single, and working on finding out who I was and wanted to be. 6 months after living there I ran into JR and Brandon at Tortugas Margarita Monday. Brandon and I were really good friends when I lived there during college days, so he introduced JR and I - and while we had already met years before, we didn't really remember each other. We all started hanging out, going to the bar - going to parties etc. JR asked me out several times, but I declined due to my 1 year single rule. After the 4th time he asked me out, he said he wasn't going to anymore because I always said no...I explained the one year thing, but I dont think he got it. So I told him I would go out with him...BUT NOT AS A DATE! LOL Months passed and we were still hanging out and I was starting to really like him. We were dating, but I refused to call it that...we were both free to date other people and all that nonsense. In January 2006, he started to tell me he was ready to settle down and have a relationship...I told him I wasn't ready. On Feb. 2 2006 I had been single for exactly one year...I told him I was ready and we started dating. 5 days later he broke up with me! LOL The first couple of months were pretty rocky. He didn't know if he was REALLY ready, so we had what I call a Monday through Friday relationship. We would be "dating" Monday - Friday...and single on the weekends. Basically he wanted to go to the bars with his friends and not have me tagging along. It was pretty stupid, because we always ended up at the same bar, and ended up at either his or my apartment! On June 14, my birthday, he decided he was really serious and asked me to move in with him and Brandon. I took a couple of weeks to Decide, and moved in the last week of June. By August I was taking a pregnancy test...and voila! Logan came into the picture. Neither of us thought that getting married just because we were going to have a baby was a good decision, and we were just starting to learn more about each other as we lived together. March 23, 2007, our little boy was born, and JR and I continued to grow as partners and as parents. Fast forward a year, JR proposed to me in May 2008 and we began to plan our wedding. We were married in Las Vegas on this day - March 17, 2009. Saint Patricks Day. It was amazing. I was almost 3 months pregnant when we got married. October 15, 2009 we welcomed our princess to our family. As I said, we didn't do things in the conventional way, but I dont think I would have changed anything. Logan was a surprise, but he also helped us see that we were getting older and it was time to stop spending everynight at the bar and grow up a little. Landry was what I call a planned surprise. See, we decided to start trying after Christmas, I was previously on the depo shot and was told by my doctor that if you are on it for more than a year, it could take up to 18 months to get pregnant. You get the shot every 3 months and my last shot was in October, so I was due for another shot in mid-December but decided not to get it since we were going to start trying. I got pregnant on the 1st of February...basically, JR and I were ready and hoping for the pregnancy, but neither of us expected it to happen so quickly. So, on my first trip to Vegas, I didn't actually get to experience the entire energy because I was already pregnant. I still stayed up til the wee hours of the morning at the roulette table, but instead of beer or other alcohilic beverages I was drinking Virgin Mary's! LOL I did have a whole beer directly after my wedding - well it was more like 3/4 of a beer...but my nerves were SHOT! And yes, Landry is perfectly healthy! Anyway, while we have only been married for two years, it seems as though it has been longer because of all the things we have gone through together, and at the same time - it doesn't seem like that long at all, because I feel like we are still in the honeymoon stage. We have our ups and downs, but there honestly isn't anything that we couldn't get through together. JR is my rock and my weakness, he is my sanity and my insanity, he is my everything. He is there to make me laugh when I am down, to hold me when I cry, to calm me when I am going crazy, to make me crazy when I am calm. He is my biggest supporter, my loudest fan, my encourager, my best friend. I am so lucky to have met, married, and started a family with such an amazing man. He is the love of my life.
Some Random things...yesterday when I took Logan to play T-ball, he kept getting mad because his shoes were getting dirty! First of all - when I took him to buy these darn shoes, he first wanted Iron Man shoes, then he wanted Cars shoes, then Spriderman shoes...then he wanted the Toy Story shoes...and when I finally said enough is enough and we were headed away form the shoe section he saw the iron man shoes again and decided he wanted them...but instead I just gave him the iron man box and kept the Toy story shoes...So, he doesn't like to be dirty...his shoes kept getting mud on them, and it was driving him crazy...then when he would pick up the balls that he had hit, he realized that they were wet and had dirt on them as well...(It had rained the night before) He kept wanting me to clean them...ughhhh - WEIRDO!
So this morning I take the kids to HEB for a few items we needed...I HATE TAKING THE KIDS TO THE GROCERY STORE WITH ME! Logan decided he wanted a new Lightning McQueen - normally I would say no, he used to have about 6 of them, and one by one they disappear - EVERYTIME ISAIAH COMES OVER - so figure that one out...so I let him get one today...I told him it was an early birthday present. As I am standing there with him picking out which one he wants, I turn to check on Landry, who is holding a stuffed puppy, and saying over and over - puppy, puppy, puppy! I cracked up laughing..I left the store with all that I needed plus 2 lightning McQueens and 1 stuffed puppy! LOL When we get in the car I open the cars packages for Logan and he strats telling me that Lightning is dirty...he picked out a Lightning with the little paver thing in front of the car from when lightning paves the road...I try to tell him what it is and why it "looks" dirty, but it really isn't. He says, "Oh my God, Mommy...he's dirty!" What can I say...i just laugh and say okay. As soon as we get home, I unlock the door, Logan goes straight to the bathroom and washes the damn car in the sink...WEIRDO! Pretty cute, and pretty funny...but whew - he is a little odd! LOL
Hope you all have a great day! I know I will!
He is the love of my life.

decisions...
I have been researching rehab facilities in Texas. I have a few ideas, 1)ask my aunt to pay for it 2) tell my parents to take out a loan if they have to 3)forget about the rehab and call CPS 4)write a typed letter to Luis telling him about everything Randi is doing and hope he does the right thing. Luis is a good father, but he could be more plugged in. I know that the information he has is the information my sister and parents tell him and of course mom and dad aren't going to tell him everything for fear that he will fight for full custody...but as a parent myself, I would want what was in the best interest of my kids and if it was JR who was making these decisions I would be furious...and I would remove my kids from him so fast he wouldn't know up from down - which Randi probably doesn't anyway because she is always high!
So let me break it down: option 1 - my aunt most likely will not pay for Randi's rehab. She has pretty much brushed randi off since she was fifteen and I think that the only way she would do it is if my mom asked her. So I would have to involve my mom in this plan...and she probably wont like it and then instead of dealing with the real problem (Randi and the drug use), I will become the problem for inciting a fight. I can't exactly go behind my mom's back and ask Angela(my aunt) because she will in turn call my mom...and we are back to square one.
Option 2 - asking my parents to take out a loan...they just aren't financially able to do this. They pay for the care and well being of Randi and her two kids as well as Vanessa and then they have their own selves to take care of...I dont see this a very viable option
Option 3 - Calling CPS and maybe supplying them with proof of negligence. Last summer, someone called CPS on Randi, she was given a drug test and came up dirty for marajuana...after 6 weeks, they closed the case and found in favor of Randi. So I dont have a lot of hope, unless I can get some sort of proof.
Option 4 - If I decide to write Luis, it will have to be typed...I dont want it to be able to be traced back to me. Again, it will become about MY betrayal and not about the issue at hand. The biggest flaw here is that he wont do what is necessary.
I am leaning towards going with CPS...letting them investigate. Hopefully being able to supply them with some sort of proof, and letting them make the decision to take the kids away from her. If they decide that it is in the best interest to live with their dad - then so be it. My parents will no longer have a reason to keep randi in the house and will kick her out and the kids will be better off as well. If CPS decides that the kids will be better off with my parents but away from their mom...then fine - kick randi out and let my parent's be the providers for the kids. I think that its time for a little tough love, sink or swim. Kick her out, and if she chooses to continue down this road - fine, but she doesn't need to do it around her kids....and if she decides to get help - AWESOME!
CPS is anonymous, so it will never be tracked back to me - hopefully. But something needs to be done before something really bad happens. Randi's luck is sure to wear off soon. I have often thought about calling the cops when she leaves the house and reporting her as a drunk driver - maybe the court could mandate rehab. But I dont want to take away her future - and then I say, she wont have a future anyway if she gets behind the wheel and kills someone or herself. I keep saying that I am going to just wash my hands of her...its not my problem. The one thing that just keeps haunting me is the idea of standing in a cemetary dressed in black, crying as we lay her, Isabella, and Isaiah in the ground. It literally haunts me. So I am going to do something...I have provided my parents with all the information I have on her drug use - stealing prescription drugs from them, from her patients at work, the pot, where they can find it, the drinking and driving, taking her kids with her to meet up with her dealer...and they haven't done anything. So while she makes her own choices in life - if the worst ever happens, it will be on her...I also feel as though it will be on me and my family as well, for sitting by and not doing everything we possibly can to stop her.
Any input on these decisions would be greatly appreciated!
Moving on to better things -
My anniversary is tomorrow! While we will most likely acknowledge it - we will be celebrating on Saturday. We are going to go to dinner and break our diet by going out for a few drinks afterwards. I am very excited.
Also very exciting - last night, Logan wanted to play baseball so badly...JR was tired so he didn't want to do it...I got really upset with him, and told him that I dont want to hear him complain ever again about Logan not playing or having any interest in it. So I went out and played with him...we played for over an hour - running bases, hitting off the tee, TRYING to catch! It was great. When he woke up this morning, the first thing he said was - mommy, I want to play baseball!!! Woohooo! So we will head to the park in a little bit and play!

Getting Close
I am getting close to 500 posts, as well as coming up on my 3 years anniversary for this blog! WOW! Can't believe it!
So once again, my sister is an IDIOT. We got into a big argument last night because she called at 9:45 and asked if she could stop by to get my wine opener on her way to work. I told her I was about to go to bed...she said I am almost to your house. I was like, "Why do you need a wine opener, when you are on your way to work?" She got all pissy with me, said, "can I stop by or not?" So I just said I would rather she didn't. It was almost 10 and Logan and I were headed to bed. Man she got pissed, and guess what!!! She came by anyway...at first I thought about leaving her out there, but the dumb bitch probably would have woken up Landry and JR - so I went to the door. I was so mad...she said she didn't want to fight with me..I was like, well shoeing up at my house after I ask you NOT to come by is a pretty good way to get in a fight. She sang this whole song about how she would just go buy a wine opener, she just wanted to apologize and make sure I was okay! BULL SHIT! So, I told her I was fine, I was just really tired and needed to go to bed. I gave in of course, took the wine from her, opened it, gave it back and told her to have fun getting drunk at work...it was a BIG bottle of wine! This is where she got pissed...saying I was such a bitch for the comment, and that she came over here to check on me and I was just judgemental and rude. I said, "Here's a funny story for you, This is MY house, when I tell someone that I would rather them NOT stop by...that's what I mean. If I want to judgemental, I get to be, if I want to be rude...I can. That's the beauty of living under your OWN roof. You get to do whatever you want to do without having someone else breathe down your neck, you should try it some time...ya know - living on your own!" I told her she should just leave...that I wasn't stupid, she didn't come over as the caring sister wanting to check on me...she came over as the older sister wanting to bully me into giving her what she wanted. As she was leaving, I told her I thought she should call in sick to work....and drive straight to rehab...told her she had a serious problem, and she needed help - of course she just flipped me the bird and told me to **** Off. But anyway - that's my idiot of a sister.
It is really hard for me to have compassion for her anymore. I know that alcoholism and addiction are diseases, I know that while under the influence it's usually the drugs and alcohol talking. The sad part is..I dont really know who my sister is sober. She is always on something - so I dont know what a sober Randi would say or do. She doesn't think she needs help, so she isn't going to get it...and my mom told us at dinner the other night that Randi came home and mom could tell that she was on something...her pupils her dilated, eyes glossed over, and she was slurring and talking very quickly...then she fell asleep and didn't wake until the next day at 3:00....well guess what, add that to the rapid weight loss...and umm, hate to tell ya, but she is on Meth again. No I haven't seen it - its just a guess...but judging by how she used to be when she was on it - it's a pretty good assumption. Anyway, so mom tells us this, and I am thinking - and what did you do about it??? - You suspect you child is on something and you do nothing...hmmmm!
Let me say this...when I was 20 years old I lived with my parents - I had gone out one night and when I called to check in my mom told me to come home...it was 9:30 and I was in Austin...I told her I was at a friends house and would be home before midnight...she said, "no, come home now." Well I didn't like that, so I stayed out and turned off my phone. At about 2 a walked through the front door where she was waiting for me...she asked where I was, I told her and I gave her the immature..."I am 20 years old, I shouldn't have a curfew..." She went on to explain to me that something was really wrong with me. Told me to get in the car, woke up my dad, and drove me to a psychiatric hospital where I was evaluated and released. They told me they had resources that they could contact if I needed a place to stay if I didn't feel safe in my home. I just laughed and asked if they could evaluate my mom...The doctor actually looked me straight in the eye and said, "that might not be a bad idea." I will NEVER forget that night for as long as I live...my parents driving me to a hospital in the middle of the night...so I dont get it - my mom will do that to me for acting like your average 20 year old, but she KNOWS her 30 year old mother of two is on drugs and she wont put HER in the car and take HER to the hospital??? I dont get it!
Like I said, I have no compassion for anyone except Isabella and Isaiah. So this turned into a blog about the IDIOT...and I didn't mean for it to...ughghhhhh - I really can't stand her. What a very very sad thing to say about my own sister...and now I am honestly crying, because it's my sister and I love her - and I can't do anything to help her and she so desperately needs help. I wish I had a couple of grand put away...I would tell her to pack a bag I was taking her on a trip...then I would get her in a car and drive her to a rehab...somewhere secluded and hours away...that way she wouldn't have anyone to get her out!

A glance at the weekend
Whew, this weekend went by so fast. On Saturday I pretty much worked on the bookshelves all day long...and I have the sunburn to prove it. Yes, I put on sunscreen TWICE, but aparently that didn't do the trick. I am halfway finished thank goodness. I am a little disappointed in the finish...I bought this really dark finish and some black paint for the trim, I thought it would look amazing, and in my head it did look great. Unfortunately it didn't come out as dark as it shows in the picture, so it wasn't really what I had in mind...but they are still nice. I will post some photos soon. That night my mom and sisters and Isabella and Isaiah came over. Vanessa was in town and promised to come see us, so they all came over for game night. Unfortunately it was really late notice, and JR and I had already began to cook dinner for the evening. Randi went to McDonalds for the rest of them, but I felt a little guilty eating my delicious grilled pork sirloin chops, fresh green beans, and half a baked potato. I think my mom is boycotting anything healthy...but whatever, it's just her way. My mom loves green beans, but when I told her they were fresh and not from a can, she turned her nose up at them...She likes baked potatoes but when I told her we only used fat free sour cream and chives on it...she coughed and asked where the butter, cheese, and bacon bits were. In my eyes, here's what's happening....she is proud of us for making healthy decisions, but when she sits in front of us and is actually part of the dynamic, she gets angry with herself for not making those decisions for herself...in turn, she takes that frustration out on us. It doesn't make it right...but that is how she is. So after dinner the kids played while, the adults played scategories! First of all, I know I say this all the time, but my older sister Randi is an idiot. Seriously, she is just so dumb. It was a pretty fun time...but stressful. Vanessa was irritated with mom and Randi. Mom was irritated with Randi. Randi was irritated with Vanessa and mom, so there were all these little snide remarks between the three of them...ughhh! Randi brought and drank an entire bottle of wine by herself...she was the only one drinking - and it seems as though we all had something to say about it. "Don't you feel weird being the only one drinking?" "Can you not get through a few hours without the help of alcohol?" "You do realize you aren't supposed to gulp wine, right?" Then something came up about Vanessa's weight...she has put on a few pounds since getting on birth control...and she asked me how much I weighed now. I told her 132 and she started crying...mom was laughing as was Randi. Apparently she had weighed herself that day and was up to 130. I am 5'8" and Vanessa is about 5'3", so she was really upset. I told her to stop being so hard on herself...that I would gladly weigh 165 if it meant I could have her body. Yes, she has put on some weight, but for the most part she still has a rockin body. She made a joke that instead of the freshman 15 when she started college, she got the senior 15. I can't believe my little sister will graduate from college in May! Geez! I wish she wasn't so hard on herself, the girl is gorgeous! But I guess I am not the best example, since I am pretty much disgusted with my body all the time. At 10:00 Randi said she needed to go to her work to fill out some paperwork and asked if mom could take the kids home with her. So mom, ness, and the kids left at 10:30.
On Sunday, we did pretty much NOTHING. JR napped - a LOT and that was about it. at 2:00 I got a call from my mom asking if I had heard from Randi. I told her no, and said, "so, I assume Randi didn't come home last night?" Mom said that she text Randi at midnight and Randi said that she was at her friend Evelyn's hanging out. Mom asked if she was coming home and Randi said she wasn't sure yet. Mom said it was fine for her to stay the night but to be home by noon because she and Vanessa had plans in San Marcos. Like I said...it was 2 when my mom called. She sent me a text at 5 saying Randi walked in the door at 3:55 saying she was sorry but she overslept. Mom asked why she didn't call or anser her phone...and Randi said that she knew my mom was mad and didn't want to listen to it! Again, my sister is such an idiot. She is dropping the kids off with their dad today and they will spend their spring break with him. I seriously wish he would do his job as a father and file fo full custody of the kids. Then my parents could kick Randi out and live their own lives, and Randi could either figure it out and grow up and MAYBE have a chance at getting her kids back, or she can continue living her screwed up life..but at least then it wouldn't be as damaging to my parents and my niece and nephew!
Getting up and running is becoming more and more difficult...I am fighting harder with myself to get out of bed than I am actually running. Every Monday I increase the amount I run...I am up to running a mile and walking a lap afterwards to cool down but keep my heart rate up. I can't believe we only have 6 more days on the second cycle...I also can't believe that JR and I have stuck with something for 29 days. I am hoping JR can lose another 6 pounds before the end of this cycle, which would mean that he would start cycle 3 at 330 lbs. I think I have just reached a weight where it is going to be a fight to get off any more pounds. The only weight I have left to lose is literally FAT, and apparently taking fat off your body isn't as easy as putting it on! All I can do is keep trying...I better be down to 130 by Logan's birthday, 9 days from now...sure I can lose 2 pounds in 9 days, right? I will say that, while JR is in need of new jeans and a new belt because his are hanging off and he is literally having to fold over a section of his jeans....mine are fitting the exact same way - so I guess I wont be getting that new wardrobe that I wanted! The thing is, I have low rise jeans anyway, so my belly never really conflicts with my jeans...it just hangs over the top of them! LOL
Have a great week guys! My anniversary is on Thursday - I just can't believe it! JR and I have been married 2 years...legally - but since nothing really changed when we got married, except we got rings and legal documents...we have been together for over 5 years...I honestly can't believe it. The year have flown by!

On It!
Mark your calendars...today - Sunday, March, 13 2011 - JR is officially on the scale! He still has 40 pounds to lose before his birthday which is officially 2 months from now. I am so proud of him. I wish there was a way to say how much he has lost for sure, but a best guess would be 30 pounds. This really couldn't have come at a better time. We are on day 28 of our diet, and we were just talking last night about how neither of us feels as if we have seen results with this second cycle. The first cycle (first 17 days) JR dropped weight so fast...I even dropped 5 pounds pretty quickly. But the second cycle (we are 10 days in) it doesn't seem as though the results have been as fast. I am officially down 8 pounds, weighing in at 132 which means I am 7 pounds from my goal, but I still have a long ways before I look the way I want. To be honest after all this healthy eating and exercising everyday, I am starting to believe that the only way for me to look the way I want is by going under the scalpel. Anyway, it came at a great time for JR, because last night it was obvious he was getting a little discouraged, and today its as if his fire has been lit again!
Back to the scalpel talk - I have been pretty firm in the decision that I want a tummy tuck. JR always tells me that if I get that done, I will find something else I want fixed. I have never believed that...EVER - until now. While my body is full of imperfections, I have always had nice breasts. Well, I have always been happy with them...unfortunately over the last few years...AKA post babies....by boobs have gotten smaller and gravity seems to hate me. I seriously think that all 8 pounds that I have lost have come straight from my boobs. I need to go get new bras sometime this week and I can throw away all my double D's and my D's and most likely my C's ...I will be lucky and surprised if I can fit into a B to be quite honest. So, while I am going to keep my promise to not investigate or look into any kind of elective surgery until Valentine's day 2012 (my promise was to give it ONE year of healthy diet and exercise), if it turns out that I do not have flat abs - I will most likely also be looking into getting my boobs done. It's not the size that bothers me. I am perfectly content with size B boobs...but these puppies have to go back to being boobs instead of these two things that are trying to make an aquaintance with my belly button!
BTW - JR is still fishing for compliments...so if by chance you see him any time soon (ahem...Nikki, Travis, Dana...etc.) Please tell him he looks like he's lost weight...even if you dont notice - he has lost about 30 pounds, and he REALLY wants others to notice..and I want him to stay motivated, so help us out! I know its hard...you see a big person, a couple of months later they are still big - its kind of hard to tell, but trust me, he's lost weight!!!

pics from yesterday!
Here are a few picture of yesterday!
Logan and Landry laying down watching a movie together
My heart literally melted when I saw this!
Trying to get the princess ready!
She has so many curls - it is hard to tame her hair.
I wanted to take her picture - but she kept running from me.
She ran and hid in her closet...little stinker!
I finally got one - this is the only photo from my camera,
the others are from my phone - sorry they aren't more clear.
Ready for his first practice! LOL
All of these are on facebook as well as Landry dancing and being a little stinker. Logan's practice didn't go well - but he finally got out there and interacted.
He was so excited to go to practice...he picked out his baseball stuff- he was carrying around his glove and bat, he wanted to wear his helmet...It is all he could talk about. We got there 10 minutes early - WOW- however, practice was at 6:15 and even though the field was only a few miles away from the house, Logan fell asleep. NOT GOOD! he didn't want to wake up, he didn't want to get out of the car. The tears were already coming - and I knew we were headed for a meltdown. Then, there is a play area right there next to the fields...a big playscape with big slides! So Logan (as well as the other kids) wanted to go play at the play area and not practice. The coach is trying to warm up to him...asking for a high five - Logan looks straight at him and I swear to GOD - screams in his face.."DON'T TALK TO ME RIGHT NOW" I was effing mortified - where did he learn this?? Me of course, because I say it all the time...Logan isn't doing something he is supposed to, I tell him not to talk to me - I'm cooking dinner, I tell JR not to talk to me. I do it all the time - and so Logan decided he would say it too. This is the first time I have ever heard him say it...His favorite thing right now is to say, "Dont talk to me that way." Because everytime I ask him to do something and he throws a fit or yells at me, I tell him not to talk to me that way -so now if I ask him to do something - that is his response. So anyway, I take Logan to the side I get to eye lever and I try as hard as I can to be patient and explain that I know he is upset, but we dont EVER talk to big people that way...all I wanted to do is pop him right in the butt and yell. I was so embarassed, mortified, frustrated, and insecure. the coach went on...explaining the bases Logan was crying and having a complete (loud) meltdown the entire time...the kids started running the bases - I was trying so hard...I would cheer and clap for each child hoping that if I didn't let my frustration show, Logan would pick up on the enthusiasm. When it was Logan's turn, I started running with him...except he was firmly planted in his spot, bottom lips sticking out, arms crossed, tears streaming down his face. It was PATHETIC! My embarassment just kept growing. JR by the way - had given up already at this point...after the first tear from Logan, JR was ready to pack up and go home...he threw his own little tantrum about how he was done..Logan wasn't going to play this year..he was never bringing him out again, he took off work early to be there. He was so humiliated, felt like a bad parent, why is Logan like this...Maybe I should be more strict! My head was literally about to explode..okay not literally - and not my head...more like my mouth...I wanted to say...hmmmm - why does Logan throw fits when he doesn't get his way...look at what your doing...Logan is not quite 4, he is tired, it's dinner time so he's hungry - he sees a park and wants to go play, so he is having some issues...but he isn't doing what you want him to do so you are throwing a tantrum. Geez!
Anyway, so I tried to get Logan to run the bases...it wasn't happening so I said he could just come with mommy and watch from the sidelines...we get over there and JR starts in on how he wants to leave. I said NO - he doesn't have to participate, but he is going to stand here and watch. I told JR that maybe after a little while when he has processed that we aren't going to give in, he will decide to get out on the field...well he did. It was the last 10 minutes of an hour long practice, but he finally got out there. The coach let him bat and run the bases which JR did with him...the team mom, said not to worry, that this was their sons third season and it gets better. I understand where JR is coming from...Logan was the ONLY child who just couldn't handle it...the other kids wanted to play too...their parents said "after practice" just like I did...but none of the kids had meltdowns. The team mom even made a joke and said he was also the ONLY left handed kid out there! LOL So after practice we told him he could go down the slide ONE time...he did, and didn't have a problem leaving...part of me thinks, damn maybe I should have walked him over, let him go down the slide once and then he would have acted better...but a bigger part of me says - screw that - I am the mom, if I say AFTER practice...thats what I mean. Which granted, yes he was tired, and hungry, and probably a little overwhelmed but damn...letting him do something he wants to do even when we say no "just because we dont want to hear him throw a fit" is the bigger part of the problem. JR says I should be more strict...yeah, I probably should be. I am the only one who disciplines the kids - I get tired and sometimes being tired means they get away with more than usual, and sometimes being tired means I dont take any crap what-so-ever. I know there needs to be a constant...I know I can't over react just because I am tired, or under react...but I am freaking human. I could probably benefit from a dose of super nanny - but that isn't going to happen. I am doing the best I can - and sure there is always room for improvement, but for now JR is really lucky that I decided not to talk to him AT ALL last night. I do not need him to tell me what I am doing wrong as a mom and why our son acts the way he does...because I could very easily bring up the fact that the kids could benefit from some more time with their father...and for him to not give in and take the easy road, and for him to be more strict...but saying any of that wouldn't help - especially not in that moment. After dinner we did sit down and he apologized and we did discuss some parenting Logan, and I decided on a game plan for next Thursday's practice. Such as trying to get him to take a nap, and planning dinner out a little better so that he can eat something before practice....or at least some sort of snack. Anyway, the point is, I made him stay, I made him watch, and although it took longer than I had hoped...he did finally realize that he was not playing at that park until AFTER practice...and he got out there and finally participated! I am going to try to take him out there a few times this week, maybe he will get used to the idea...I dont know what else to do....But I know that throwing a fit isn't going to help!!

Long days
JR didn't get home until 9:00 last night. While I am happy about the paycheck that will be coming, I miss my husband. I get so worn down. I get tired of people telling me how lucky I am to be a stay at home mom and not have to work. Ummm - I do work and I work really hard, and I am damn good at my job! So here is a little run down of my day:
(mind you I will probably leave some things out)
6:30: Wake up and run
7:00: Strength training and stretching/yoga
7:30: Cook breakfast
7:45 - 8:30 eat and spend time on the computer
8:30 Landry wakes up - I change her, feed her make her some milk
8:45 Logan wakes up - I make him a bowl of cereal
8:45 - 9:00 clean the kitchen from breakfast
9:00 - 10:00 play time with the kids
10:00 Laundry, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping - depending on the day
10:30 snack time - I eat some yogurt and fruit, and make some for the kids as well
11:00 clean up
11:15 we do a color station...I let the kids color or paint
11:30 story time
12:00 Landry's nap...Logan and I work on letters
12:30 Lunch for Logan and myself
1:00 Clean up
1:30 Landry wakes up - gets changed and eats lunch
2:00 clean up
2:15 Logan gets computer time - Landry and I sing, or dance, or point to letters, or body parts, or animals
2:30 this is usually when the kids get another dose of cheerios
3:00 I try to finish up chores then clean up after the kids
3:30 PLay time with the kids
4:00 Landry takes a nap Logan gets computer time I usually go outside to sand the book shelves
5:15 I shower and set out ingredients for dinner
5:30 I start dinner...feed and change Landry
6:30 dinner is done - I start cooking the next days lunch
7:30 Eat dinner
8:00 pack JR's lunch and snack for the following day and clean kitchen from dinner
8:30 JR get home, I heat up his and Logan's plate - put Landry to bed
(This of course is every OTHER night...because on the other nights I have to start dinner earlier so that I can give the kids baths at 7:00)
8:30 - 9:00 I talk with my husband about the day while he eats
9:00 I clean his plate and start the dishwasher
9:15 - 9:45 - Shower
10:00 time for bed...I usually read for about 10 to 15 minutes then I wake up and do it all again.
While this is very tiring, I love my job...but I need a little break here and there. It's easy to get run down, but I am really proud of myself for making an effort to do some household chore every day. I vacuum Mondays and Thursdays. I sweep and mop on Tuesdays and Friday's. Laundry on Wednesdays and Saturdays. I do the dishes after each and every use and I clean up the kitchen and any mess after every meal. Now I really sure dust on Sundays...but usually that is my day to go to the grocery without the kids, or to finish up whatever I need to do, or to lock myself in the room for an hour of ALONE TIME. This system has been working for 2 weeks...my house has stayed perfectly clean - and I never have to worry about panicking if someone was to stop by. I love having a clean house...but it takes a lot of work...especially with two little ones that are constantly begging for food or drink as if I never feed them...Also keep in mind that this little schedule doesn't include the days where we need to run to the grocery because I can only buy 3-4 days of groceries at a time, or when we need to run to Wal-Mart, or to pay a bill, or go to T-ball practice, or go to the doctor, or any other errands we might have.
My point is this. My husband is gone to work by the time my kids get up, and on some nights doesn't even get to see his daughter because of her bedtime and the time he gets home from work. I work ALL day long. I am an excellent mom. Please remember that we are not "JUST stay-at-home moms" that get to sleep in late, watch tv, snuggle with our babies...its WORK - granted its the best work I could ask for, but it doesn't mean its easy breezy. It's also a heavy weight on the shoulders to know that when your kids screw up, or make a bad decision - you can only blame yourself. Its a big job, so please dont look at stay at home moms as if we have it so much easier!
Now - on the other hand...you mom's that have jobs outside the home!!! WHEW! You are BRAVE women. I dont say all this to complain about my job...I have the best job in the world...I say it because I got irritated with someone today who let me know how easy I have it...and to let others know that we get tired to. So let me also say this...(Of course - this is your world through my eyes...it doesn't make it true - just opinion) You wake up, make breakfast, get yourself ready for work, get your kids up - feed them, and probably try to spend some quality time with them before loading up and heading to daycare and your other job...It is hell for me to get my kids dressed and ready to go somewhere when we have errands so I can NOT imagine having to dress them every morning - especially when they are cranky..so again - you are BRAVE. You probably have some mommy guilt when you drop off your child even though you know your doing what is best for them - you love them and you wish you had more time to spend with them. But you say your goodbye, you give your hugs and kisses and you head off to work. You work hard all day long, looking forward to 5:00 then you go pick up your baby which you cover in kisses and head home. You still have dinner to make, eat, and clean up after. You still have the time you play with your kids. You still have bathtime, for the babies and for yourself, somehow you have to squeeze in some time with your spouse, or some alone time. You have to get things ready for the following day. And of course this doesn't include when you have to go to the grocery store, or run errands, or pay bills, or play dates, or any of the other things moms are in charge of. (Please note that I apologize for any major things I left off)
The moral of this rant is - the grass is always greener on the other side...well that's BS! Being a mom is hard, and its a lot of work, and its also the most wonderful thing in the world. Just because I get to do my job in my pajammas doesn't mean that its easier than yours. We are all moms. As a mom who's only job is being a mom and a wife...my job runs 24 hours a day sometimes, but usually 16 - 17 hours a day. Your Job is pretty much the same...except that you have two of them...but just because you go to a different job doesn't mean your aren't a mom...you work 24 hours a day somedays and 16-17 hours a day most days. I honestly dont think that because you go to work outside of the home that you have it any easier or any more difficult than I do. I think the only difference is you get a paycheck and I dont! LOL And I also dont believe that just because I dont get a paycheck and that I stay at home my job is any easier or more difficult than yours. We are all just doing the best we can! So let's celebrate the miracle of being moms! Lets not judge other moms until we have walked in their shoes...literally - just because you are a mom doesn't mean you can judge another mom, because EVERY child is different and has to be parented differently. Let's be uplifting and supportive. Being a mom is tough - we could all use some good friends in life who dont judge us when we make a mistake, but instead hug us and say- it's okay, lesson learned. Sometimes when I make a mistake, I just want someone to say...hahah don't worry, it's not as bad as when I...and then tell a story about how they screwed up! LOL
Logan Parker
According to my baby ticker, Logan is 3 years 11 months and 2 weeks old! I can't believe how fast the time has gone by. It seems like not too long ago that JR and I were holding this little boy. He fit so perfectly in my arms, and when JR held him, he just looked so tiny. I remember talking with JR about "when he gets older"...the long talks of when he starts to play sports - that day has come. The talks of when he starts school....that day has come...I just signed Logan up at the Baptist church pre-school. He will go 2 days a week starting at the end of August through December. After the Christmas break he will return, but he will go 4 days a week until summer. I am going to be really honest - because this is pretty much like a diary - so here it goes...I am being an incredibly selfish mom. I can say that I am starting him at 2 days and moving him to 4 in order to help him transition, but the truth is, I am doing it for me - to help me transition. I am not ready to let him go. I struggle with this every year...and end up keeping him home and find another excuse as to why I haven't put him in school (usually my excuse is money, and it is valid...but somehow I know we would find the money to do it if we needed to). I love my little boy so much, and I know that he should go ahead and start school. It will be great for him socially and a head start on academics never hurts. I told the lady I was concerned about him being a little behind, and that I didn't want him to be in a 4 year old class if they were all ahead of him, so she sat with him and asked him some questions...he pretty much amazed me - she said he would fit in just fine, that he is right where he should be. Hopefully she wasn't just being nice - LOL I know that I talk about him being behind a lot...but here's the thing....I was kind of a brainiac in school...I liked to read, I liked doing homework - I asked for extra credit even though I was making an A in the class. I liked studying....basically - if I told my parents I had homework to do, they would leave me alone. However, I had a lot of friends who went to CM (Content Mastery) for help with certain subjects...basically it meant that they were behind for some reason or another. EACH and EVERY one of these people had low self esteem...I had one friend - Nicole Wade - The girl was probably the most gorgeous girl in the entire school. Blond Hair, the bluest eyes, sweetest personality, straightest, whitest teeth that never had braces. Her eyelashes went on for miles, as well as her legs. She was so sweet, and kind to everyone and everyone loved her - even the bitchiest of bitchy girls couldn't find anything bad to say about her...but she was a slow reader...It started in kindergarten and continued until graduation...she just couldn't ever catch up (not to mention that the CM teachers just gave students the answers instead of actually working with them - another time). She had such low self esteem that started so young - no matter what she had going for her...she felt stupid, she said stupid people were useless in this world. One day she half jokingly commented that she was going to try out for a photoshoot, maybe she could be a "dumb model". Well she did it, and she got the job...she modeled for Academy, Dillards, and a few others. My point is, that my niece is going through the same thing right now...she is a slow reader, and her self confidence is shot - she hates to read aloud...she sounds out EVERY word - even "the" even though she knows it...and when someone asks her to read, she turns red, gets shy, and becomes introverted which is totally opposite of who this little girl is. She just turned 8...and I feel that we should be building our kids up...we should show them and teach them to have self worth...ESPECIALLY our little girls, but also our boys. So I worry that if Logan is behind a little it might dampen his spirit. All I can say - is that I am aware of the affects, and if he is behind now or in the future...I will work with him for hours, I will help him catch up and I will do it in a way that lets him know how special he is. One thing my kids will have that their mommy didn't have a lot of is self confidence...my mom always tore us girls down no matter what - but I choose to always build my kids up! My mom constantly reminded me that I was awkward looking, my legs too long, too skinny, too many freckles, my teeth were crooked, my neck was too long - then I gained weight my senior year and it was constantly "wow...your like a little balloon" "if your boobs get any bigger your going to fall over" "geez, are you pregnant" "you know, if you ever want to meet a man and get married, you might not want to act so smart...guys dont like that" It was constant...I didn't know what to think - all I knew was that nothing I did would be good enough...It took about 26 years for me to come to terms with that knowledge (I'll be 28 this year - lol). I dont want my kids to think they are better than anyone - but I want them to be the best they can be.
So now I have babbled on and on...sorry -scattered thoughts today

Yesterday
I actually finished one of the bookshelves...okay - not finished, but the sanding is complete. Now it just needs to be stained. While sanding said book shelf, I got a lovely sunburn to go with it! YAY! - I love the sun, I love the warmth it provides, I love the way it gives you that summer care-free feeling, the way you feel like a kid again looking forward to summer, jumping in a pool, spending time with friends. But I also hate the sun! I was not bron with olive skin - I am the classic "skin cancer beware" kind of person. I have red hair, blue eyes, and pale skin that freckles. I try to be careful, something I have had to learn by watching my mom have MANY MANY cancerous moles or spots from her skin. I give myself a healthy inspection at least once a month...hell, if something looks questionable, I take a photo, then another after 1 -2 and 3 months...if it is changing rapidly - I go straight to the doctor. Basically it isn't a matter of IF I will get skin cancer, its a matter of WHEN.
After I showered, we all ate lunch and Landry went down for a nap. When she got up, we headed to the park. This time, I slathered myself and the kids with 70SPF sunscreen. Landry had such a great time on the swing..Logan played hide and seek with me. He would go down the slide first, then hide behind it while Landry and I went down....then I would go through the whole "Where's Logan"....until he would jump out. We stayed for about an hour...I put some photos on facebook, but here are a few...
Also, wanted to let you know I have broken the 133 barrier...I weighed in at 132.6 - LOL JR is losing so much weight its really crazy. Last year, our friends Desmond and Stefanie got married at the end of May. JR decided to buy a suit, so we had to stop at Men's Warehouse to get him a shirt and tie to match. Well the shirts, were $96 but they were having a buy one get one free sale...They only had one shirt in JR's size...but for 100 bucks, I told him to pick another one out and maybe one day he would lose some weight. So anyway he did. About a month and a half ago, JR had an interview, so he put on that "smaller" shirt, and came to me going - holy crap...why did I buy a shirt that is this small. I told him the reasoning (I guess he forgot), but then I told him he must have gained weight because the shirt wasn't THAT small on him last May. At this point he could barely button the shirt. Fastforward to last night...he came into the kitchen wearing the shirt...and it fits him perfectly! Geesh! He says he would like to be down to 290 by his birthday...that's 2 months away...and about 45 - 50 pounds...I told him he should aim for 300...so I guess we will see. But he has lost about 25 pounds in only 22 days...so I guess that's something...I guess if he keeps going at this pace then it is perfectly logical to lose 50 pounds in two months!

oh, sweet Monday!
This weekend was pretty nice. We didn't do much. JR has sciatica and has been such a wimp about it. He has been having it for about 3 weeks now off and on, and it just flared up on Wednesday or Thursday. He told me the symptoms, I told him what it was. He asked how I knew...I was like ummmmm....I had it for virtually 7 months straight while I pregnant with Landry, and about 5 months with Logan...not to mention that pregnancy has screwed my back that was already crappy to begin with...so I still get it all the time. He responds with, "Well, it must not have been that bad because I can barely move." OMG!!!! I just laughed and laughed and laughed. He asked what he was supposed to do about it...I told him there wasn't much he could do. Tylenol to help with inflamation and pain, heating pad, and stretching...that's about it. He didn't like my answer, so he decided to get on WebMD and type in the symptoms he was having...sure enough sciatica was the first thing that popped up...then he decided to research sciatica just to be sure! He can be so annoying. Later he called his mom to complain to him, I guess I wasn't sympathetic enough to his pain...although I did let him sleep until noon! His mom believes in all these wierd things...so she told him sciatica is caused by monetary stresses! LOL Considering we are finally stable enough to be putting money back into the savings account, our financial troubles are on the mend as of now...so I dont think that is it! Hahah. About 3:30 on Saturday I finally talked JR into going with me to my parents house to pick up the bed for the guest room and the book shelves. We put the bed in there...it is a full size mattress, but it pretty much takes up the entire room...I have no idea what to do about that! Then I started on the bookshelves...Let me just tell you that when they were bought (about 20 years ago) they were stained, and coated with polyurethane....about 15 years ago, my mom decided to put a primer on them and paint them maroon to match our furniture...of course, my mom ALWAYS uses two coats. Therefore, I am trying to sand through about 5 layers just to get to the grain of the wood. I worked for several hours on Saturday, then all day yesterday. I went to Lowes for more sandpaper...and ended up buying some paint stripper...It definitely helps get the paint off...but it makes such a mess and well...I understand why my mom gave up...but I wont - I just have to find the best method. I started contemplating just painting over the paint...but I would really like them to look nice...So I will keep trucking along! I just want to finish them before everyone come down for Logan's party in a couple of weeks! So today, I am going to keep working on the shelves, I have to hit up the HEB at some point...and I need to sweep and vacuum. I have decided that I am going to sweep and vacuum at least every 3 days! We will see how long that lasts, but I really like keeping my house spotless (except for the toy room). It is so nice to go to bed at not think about everything that needs to be cleaned the next day...and it really is calming to wake up and walk into the CLEAN kitchen. I am going to try really hard to kee it up!
Hope everyone has a good week...Logan's first REAL T-ball practice is on Thursday...I am so excited and nervous at the same time! LOL

Saturday
Well, I had every intention of going running this morning...however, Landry woke up a 6:45. Grrrr. I had decided that since it was the weekend, I could sleep in until 7 and then go run...but NOPE. Oh well, I will try to go do it when JR wakes up. Its pretty crappy outside anyway, so maybe it will clear up a little.
We had a great time with my parents. They stayed until 9:30. I think they were ready to leave but they had the kids with them and I put on Monsters Inc. while the adults ate dinner and they really didn't want to leave the movie! Hahaha...I love that movie. Landry didn't go to bed until 9:00 and the latest she usually ever goes to bed is 8:30 - so I really dont know why she thought it would be fun to wake up early! Anyway, we all had a great time...my biggest complaint - I told my mom that she would need to bring whatever it is they wanted to drink, because all we drink is water. My dad brought a 6 pack of Dos XX, my mom brought a 6 pack of diet coke, and they brought a 2 Liter of DR. Pepper, for the kids. I honestly cant remember the last time I had a soda, but man it looked good, as did the beer! LOL So when they left, they took the Diet coke and beer - but left the Dr. Pepper. I think I asked my mom to take it about 5 times...its just too tempting. As they were leaving, I ran to grab it and give it to her. All night long I would say, make sure you take the Dr. Pepper with you, and she would say - just give it to the kids...I would say, my kids dont drink soda - and she would tell me I'm mean to them. It was friendly banter, but at the end of the night when I took the Dr. Pepper to her, she told me again to let the kids have it...she really didn't want to have to lug it home. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! After they left, JR and I pored the remaining 1/2 of it down the sink! LOL
Today, I am going to head to my parents house to get their bed for our guest room and some book shelves. My mom had apparently began sanding them, but decided to give up on it, so she said that I could have them and she will let me borrow the sander to finish the job! This is so exciting...#1 - we will have bookshelves for the office, #2 I have a new project!!! I was really bored yesterday since the house was finished, I think I vacuumed twice, cleaned the toilets, mopped, I started to look for any type of dirt on the walls so that I could scrub it...I guess I am in a productive mood...give it some time - then all I will want to do is lay around. Ha

Friday
Yay! Friday! I am really proud of myself of getting up early every day this week and going for a run/walk. Today I decided to just walk, but I kept my heart rate up and it was a fast paced walk. I was surprised to see that different muscles were getting tensed and used while walking than running. I wanted to walk because my knees were hurting and I have some shin splints...nothing that I couldn't work through - but I just wanted to take it easy. Every morning I have woken up, laid there for about 5 minutes debating on whether I should get up and run or go back to sleep. I am proud to say that even though I really wanted to sleep, I got my butt up anyway. I had originally planned to do this Monday through Friday and take the weekends off, but I think I am going to go Monday through Saturday. Logan will be having his first T-ball game on the 26th and unfortunately ALL of his games are at 8:00 on Saturday mornings. So I might as well just continue to get up early on Saturdays considering the next Saturday that I can sleep in isn't until May 28! Just a few months away. Sunday I will sleep in at least until 8 (which is what time Landry wakes up) and I will probably just stick to some morning stretches. That is the plan for now. JR says he is about 4 pounds away from having the scale read him...he's lost about 20 pounds and the people at his main office actually commented on his weight loss today...he was pretty thrilled about it. I am still at 134.4 - I made a promise to myself not to weigh in again until Tuesday...I dont know if I am seeing what I want to see because I feel better or if my tummy is actually getting a little flatter. Trust me, it isn't all that noticeable but I feel like its gotten a little flatter. So I never got around to taking a picture on Day 1 - and I have no way to go back and compare - so yesterday I took a picture and hopefully 16 days from now I wont even need the photo as a reference...Hopefully it will be noticeable. But just in case - I the photo for my reference. Also I need to look up some new exercises, because I cant do the same thing everyday!
I am excited to say that other than the office - the house is completely put together...well and the guest bedroom - but I need to get a bed for that room...as of now - the kids toys are in there and it is serving as a play room....Best Idea EVER ---it keeps them both back there for long periods of time and it keeps MOST of the toys out of the living room! The office isn't put together because I just dont know where to start...I need bookshelves - It really is a disaster area.
My parents are coming to dinner tonight. I am really happy to be able to cook for them and even more happy that we get to eat beef tonight! LOL Hopefully they will say yes to letting me use their spare bed!!! I am just excited to get to see them. They live 30 minutes away and I never see them, so this will be nice. They are bringing the kids since my sister has a date, I guess my house wont stay clean for long...oh well at least Randi isn't coming, getting drunk and staying the whole weekend! (More on that later)I am glad Friday is finally here! I hope everyone enjoys their weekend!
