Today is going to be a busy one...It's Thursday - which means its t-ball practice today at 6:00. I think I have finally caught on as far as making dinner ahead of time so that after practice we can just pop it in the microwave and VOILA! Done! Logan passed out last night at 8:15 and didn't get up until 8:30 this morning - so I guess he was tired from all that playing yesterday...BUT last night was bath night and unfortunately Logan didn't get his! After dinner, he wanted to play with his friends, so he went off to play and JR went out to watch him, while I finished putting the food away, and doing dishes. Then I got Landry in the tub and put her down at 8:00. By the time I got her out of the bath, Logan was just coming in. My plan was to put her to bed, fold the laundry, and get Logan in the bath tub. But by the time I put her down Logan was OUT like a light.
So this morning, we ate breakfast, and then I told Logan he needed to get a bath - which he answered, "I didn't pee in the bed" LOL The kid thinks that the only time he takes a bath in the morning is if he has an accident...Too funny. Of course, Landry wanted to climb in the tub with Logan, so I just let her have another bath - whatever...it never hurts to be extra clean! Now Landry is laying down for a nap even thought it's 5 minutes until 11...but I need her to take the nap now because we have to leave for San Marcos no later than 1:00 and if she is trying to drop that second nap - at least this will giver her two hours of sleep...oh man- its going to be rough today that is for sure. Logan's appointment is at 2:00 and he will be getting 3 immunization shots today. I am so scared. It was one thing for him to get them at 2 but - this is going to be even harder. I wonder if they can just get 3 nurses to inject the shots all at the same time because I really dont think he is going to sit after the first one...he is going to be running and screaming - oh Lord, I will need some help today. I also have to go over to the Jewelry store to pick up my necklace from being repaired and I am going to try and buy some size adjusters for JR's ring as a temporary fix. Then I think we are going to get him a new ring - and we are still debating how we are going to do this. Part of him wants to get the same one he has in his new size - but then he still has a lot of weight to lose and we would have ot by another one later, or he may just use adjusters until he has reached or is close enough to his goal weight and then buy it....OR I was thinking he could pick out another ring that is made of a different metal and we can just get it resized as needed...BUT he made a good point that we chose the titanium because of his line of work - it doesn't lose its luster or get scratched up. So for now we are going to use the adjusters and keep thinking on it. Maybe by Christmas he will be at his goal weight and we can get him a new one...hopefully earlier than Christmas - but we will see.
After the jewelry store, I still need to finish up my shopping at HEB that I didn't finish up yesterday...but I may wait until after practice to get that done so that I dont have to go with the kids.
Anyway - I am SCARED about taking him to the doctor today...I really wish JR was here to help...and to think - I get to do it all over again in about 3 weeks when I take Landry to the doctor for her 18 month checkup...she will need shots too, since I opted out of getting them at her 15 month checkup! ughhh Luckily she will take it a little better than I think Logan will - plus I only have to get hers done at 18 months and again at 2...and then not again until she is 4...and with Logan I have to get his done today and then not again until he is 11 (I think - if I am reading it correctly) So I am trying to think on the positive side....only a few more immunizations and then we are done - I wont have to do this ANYMORE. Hooray! Wish me luck guys!
