Swimming!

We bought a pool yesterday, and spent forever last night setting it up...We started filling it up at 10:30 last night and didn't stop until 12:00 noon today...WOW! I can only imagine what the water bill will look like! JR and Logan spent all afternoon in it while I was at the fairgrounds, but the minute I got home, I put on my swimsuit and got in. It was awesome...tonight we are going to make burgers on the grill and maybe spend some more time in the pool, before the first shock treatment! Anyway, I am so excited....it is so nice and relaxing! I will take pics and post soon!

Bye Bye Wedding Ring :(

SO I just drove ALL the way to Bay Brook mall...Grrrr...in order to get my ring inspected because in order to keep my warranty and insurance I have to have it inspected every 6 months...This means I have about 3 more days to get it done...So I took it today, which I am glad I did because a few of the diamonds are loose, which means that it had to be sent off to get fixed, so I wont have it back until my birthday, June 14....so sad.

19 weeks

I still need to take a picture, but I will have to do that later. I can't believe that we will soon be having another ultrasound...YAY for Monday! It is crazy to think that I am half way to having this little baby in my arms...I say halfway, because I will be having a scheduled c-section, and my doctor says she will be doing that 1 week before my due date in order to reduce the risk of labor starting on its own, which would mean (emergency c-section) AHHHH. My mouth is feeling so much better and I am pretty sure my blood pressure is back to normal, although I didn't check it....the dizziness and headache are gone, which I am convinced was caused by the high blood pressure. I have a lot to do today, mainly just paying the bills, but I have to have my wedding rings inspected...I tried to go to the closest Kay Jewelers but they have closed....so now the closest one is at Bay Brook Mall...Ughhh...I dont want to drive all the way up there! But maybe I will pick up a new shirt or something while I'm there!

Crazy days!

Lets start with nights...we all know that pregnant women usually have some very intense dreams. Now that I am able to ***sleep through an entire night (more on that in a sec), I have been having very strange dreams about high school. I have heard that you usually dream about unresolved issues in your first trimester...I am in my second, so why I am I dreaming about these things??? I am ready for my dreams to move on to my future.!
*** The reason I am getting more sleep is because JR switched sides with me! **Logan is still in our room (more on this later), and he usually wakes me up by getting out of his bed and tying to get into ours seeing as how I sleep facing his bed, I am the one he wakes up! Also, he makes these wimpering sounds when he is uncomfortable or moving around which also wakes me up. So JR and I switched sides and now I make it through an entire night without waking up! YAY!
**We had planned on moving Logan's bed into his room this past weekend, but we chose not to...JR doesn't want to do it on a weekday because we know that the transition will be difficult at first which will cause all of us to get very little sleep. Since JR has to get up early, he would rather do it on days that he doesn't have to wake up and drive through Houston morning traffic...I agree with him! Too bad I have to wake up early on the weekends...but at least I get to take a nap at around 3:15.
The stress is getting to me... Last night I had a complete breakdown. Partly because I had a really hard day. I wasn't feeling well, and probably because my blood pressure was high. I am planning on going and having it checked again today...if it is still high, I plan on driving directly to my OB...I have called to let them know and haven't heard back from them which REALLY irritates me. Anywho, when JR finally got home I was crying I told him exactly what I needed...I needed his help and I was specific in what I needed help with....HE started off well, but I guess he got side tracked with the TV and computer, because nothing got done that I asked him to do. So now I am stuck picking up the house and doing all the dishes all by myself. I am once again in tears because I dont know how else to be more clear. I had such a horrible day, Logan was a little devil, and all I asked for was a little help, why is that so difficult? THe thing is, I dont allow him to treat me badly, but I wouldn't treat a person that I dislike this way. JR just seems to always do whats easiest for JR, even if that makes things harder for me. For example, we switched sides on the bed so that I could finally get some sleep...Well JR has decided that it is easier to just let Logan sleep with us. This makes it harder for me because it completely undermines the weeks I have spent getting him to sleep in his own bed. SO now I have to decide..do I move his bed into his room tonight which will be better for both JR and I in the long run, or do I wait another night, allowing JR to let Logan sleep with us for the third night in a row? We move on...for months I have been trying to 100% get Logan off the bottle, which means no night time bottle. Logan refuses to drink milk out of a sippy cup, so JR realizes that Logan will go to sleep much easier if he has his night time bottle...but it makes it more difficult for me because Logan thinks if he gets one at night, he can have one during the day!!! I am happy to say that after removing the bottles in the house Logan has gone 4 1/2 days without a single bottle...he still wont drink any milk, but the doctor says that at this point as long as he is getting plenty of fluids he will be fine without milk. If I am still concerned I can always give him vitamins to supplement! The other major issue with JR taking the easy way is the potty training...yes Logan is my son, but he is also JR's son...should JR take 50% of the responsibility in raising him? I know that JR does so much for us...but it has to be more than just financially supporting us. I started potty training Logan 2 weeks ago, but that really isn't accurate because we haven't done anything for the last week...Why? Because I dont feel like it is my sole responsibility and I would like JR to help me and because it would take to much work JR says, "he's not ready" (meaning Logan). Logan will bring us a diaper when he needs to be changed...he's already gone on the potty..He is ready, I think the truth is JR isn't ready to put forth any real effort. So I sit here crying wondering when JR is going to change, and yet if it hasn't happened in 3 years...will it ever? I guess the idea of having another baby in 4 1/2 months is really really scary knowing that i could very possibly be going through all of this again in a few short years...the only difference is that I will have 2 little ones under the age of 5.
I guess you could say the pressure is really starting to get to me!

Very rough day!

Today was a very rough day. It started last night when my tooth became abscessed (I dont know how to spell that!). I am sure that this was happening over time, I have had lots of problems with this ONE particular tooth. I was laying down taking a nap and when I woke up, the entire right side of my face was in excrutiating pain. I tried a few things and ended up taking tylenol. I was in so much pain I thought I would throw up. Finally it reached the point of calling my mother to see if I could get a hydrocodone from my grandfather, or going to the ER. Since I didn't think the ER would be able to do much for me and I couldn't bare the idea of being there for hours without being seen, I chose to call my mom. The deal was that she would meet JR at the Target in Galveston as it was kind of the half way point.....What I didn't count on was that it was Memorial Day and everyone was trying to leave the island. BTW it was 8:55 pm when I called her. JR FINALLY got home at 10:45. I thought I was dying. She gave me 3 pills I tool one immediately and another at about 4:15 in the morning, because I woke up in aweful pain.......OH I GUESS I SHOULD ALSO SAY THAT I CALLED MY OB/GYN BEFORE TAKING THIS AND IT WAS OKAYED. I got up around 7:30 this morning and decided to take tylenol. I called the dentist at 8...no answer...8:30 no answer....9 no answer...I left three messages and one on the emergency line....I got nothing. At 10:20 I loaded up Logan and we headed for the dentist. I dropped Logan off with my mom and ended up sitting at the dentist office until 3:45. They finally called my name, the nurse opened my chart and says, "Oh, your pregnant. There isn't anything we can do with out a medical waiver from your OB." WLKJHFLKSLKJHFLKF SDLIHF LJF. I went completely ape shit. First of all, when I got there, the first words out of my mouth were, "I am 18 weeks pregnant, is that going to be a problem?" No, maam! I was told. "Is there anything you need from me?" Just your insurance and ID. "You dont need anything from my doctor?" No, maam! The I waited and waited and waited....then a nurse called my name...I went in and filled out my Medical History...on the form I wrote that I was 18 weeks pregnant and I specifically asked if there would be a problem with me being seen due to the fact that I was 18 weeks pregnant. Nope, it would be fine, she says. By the time I got seen, I had been there for 5 hours...I was very irritated, they took my blood pressure which was 143/122 and then dismissed me....my irritation turned in to pure anger. Let's just say, I was not very nice when I left. I cried the whole way to my grandparents...I went to a few UTMB clinics to see if they could at least prescribe me something for the pain...it was a no go. Luckily my aunt showed up at my grandparents after she got off work...she just happens to be a doctor....she looked at the tooth and told me it was definitely abscessed and that I would need an antibiotic which she happily called in. She told me to rinse with warm water and put heat on it. BTW my face is swollen on the outside..."Godfather" style...She said that while ice would keep the swelling down, heat would extract the abscess faster. So that is my course of action. Hopefully I wont have any more problems with the tooth for the rest of my pregnancy, and afterwards I can have more work done on the tooth. I am still in a lot of pain. but at least I know it will go away soon. Wish me Luck.

pictures and flutters

Here are some pictures of the other day I said I would post. Also, baby is full of movement lately...the little movements are still sporadic and feel like a lots of fluttering but I still enjoy it. I am ready for the full blown kicks though and the all day activity...It was one of my favorite things about being pregnant with Logan...hopefully, this wish wont turn out to bite me in the ass...which by the way is huge! My thighs, ass, hips, even my arms are expanding by the second. I feel like I have some sort of air pump just going at it.

LOGAN DID IT!

YAY! Everybody clap your hands, sing a little song, and put a big smile on your face!!! Logan pee-peed in the potty. God knows if you would have told me four years ago, that watching a little boy potty in a toilet would be the highlight of my week, I would have slapped you! Sure enough, after days of working on it, Logan went potty last night! JR and I were so proud!
It started off not so great...Logan had just had his bath and had yet to get his nighttime diaper, he was in the bedroom with JR when I hear JR yell, "LOGAN, NO" then JR came running into the batroom, Logan in tow. JR sat Logan on the little boy potty and told him that is where he goes potty. I think Logan was so shocked from JR yelling at him that he couldn't pee. He just sat there looking at us like..."what now?" So I got the idea to fill a cup with warm water and I slowly poured it over his wee-wee...It started the flow, and voila....he was peeing! I will say it was a little weird to sit there trying to get him to hold his wee-wee down...he wasn't having it, so I got the great honor of holding it down! YAY! Afterward we were finished congratulating him and cheering, I gave him a little treat and JR went to clean the area where Logan had started to pee before JR interupted him! Ha!!!!

We're doing it!

So after lots of discussion last night JR and I have decided we are going to go through with buying the house. We have to be here for 3 years which is one year more than I want to, but after some careful financial planning we have decided that this is the best route for us. We are going to put an extra amount of money in savings per month, and keep Logan here instead of sending him to daycare...unless I can find a really good paying job because we will putting Logan in private school when the time comes. The major reason I didn't want to be here longer than two years was because I dont want my children going to school here, so to remedy the problem we have decided that we will put him in private school, which will obviously be more expensive but also better for my kids. I am really nervous about the whole situation, but I also trust my husband. If he says this is what is best for us, then that's what we'll do. Anyway, I am excited that we will be home owners...I am even more excited that in three years we will hopefully be in our dream house. If we dont purchase this house, it could be 10 - 15 years before we are in our dream house...so I really think we are better off doing it this way! We have a really good interest rate on a 15 year mortgage. My biggest fear is getting stuck with the house and not being able to sell it. There are a lot of things that we want to fix up in the house, which I am excited about. I love projects!

More fun in the Sun!

Today Logan and I have been outside for most of the day. We came in at 12:30 to eat lunch and hopefully, Logan will take a nap soon. I bought Logan a new pool last night and got it all filled up today. It is bigger than I had imagined, but its good because he can grow into it. I really wanted to buy one of the larger above ground pools, but without any word from Walter about purchasing the house, I didn't want to get ahead of myself. Oddly enough, he e-mailed me last night (after I got back from the store) to let us know that he agreed with our terms. So it's here...the final steps of buying our house...and I now have cold feet. I am scared to death. What if we cant re-sale the house when we want to move. What if we are spending to much and we end up losing a bunch of money. I am not worried about affording the monthly payments because we are only going to be paying about $50 more than we do now...I am scared that we will be stuck here forever. I dont want to live here for more than 2 years. I DONT want my children going to school here. Ughhh...this is really scary! Crap! I gotta go....i will post some pics later

My grandfather...

My grandfather had an appointment today with the oncologist. My grandfather will start chemotherapy next week. If all is going well he will have surgery sometime around Christmas. They are giving him 5 years IF all goes well. I know that the doctors know more than I do, but I seriously hope that he is strong enough to go through Chemo. I am so incredibly sad...My mom should be finding out any minute now...when I spoke to my grandmother, she was about to take a nap, so she will probably calling my mom soon. She will be devastated. My grandmother was crying when I got off the phone with her. This is really aweful and it is only going to get worse. I dont know how we will get through this.

2 more weeks

I have 2 weeks left until the anatomy ultrasound! I am still contemplating ordering another one for the end of June or July, but I dont think I will make that decision until after the one on June 1st. It truly depends on how experienced the sonographer is. My mom and I are doing better, not like we were but better! JR and I are trying to plan a trip down to Wimberley to visit my parents. I might even float the river! HA...can you imagine my big belly hanging out of the tube?
I really wanted to buy an above ground pool for our backyard, but we still haven't heard back from our landlord...it's been a week since we gave him our numbers that we were willing to pay for the house. I would really rather not purchase something that expensive if we aren't going to have a backyard to put it in! Hopefully, we will hear from him soon! Potty training isn't going anywhere...mainly because I was gone all day Saturday and Sunday doing community service....Saturday I had so much fun, but Sunday was kind of BLAH! Anyway, apparently JR decided he didn't want to put any effort into it, so all my hardwork went down the drain, because JR took the easy route and just put him in diapers! I am so frustrated. How am I supposed to be consistant when my husband wont even try?

busy days

Yesterday was a busy and tedious day. I am really really really tired of taking Logan to the potty. I want to see results!!! I am not a patient person....and going to the potty every 30 minutes and not once seeing him pee on the potty is very discouraging. I keep reminding myself that is takes time, but it doesn't really help. I have been consistant but I got my hopes up thinking JR would help me when he got home from work. I was wrong. I thought that he could take Logan every other time so that I could relax for an entire hour before going back to the bathroom...but he was a little side tracked with his fantasy baseball...You know, thats not entirely true...he did help out taking him to the potty, and he cooked dinner...I really shouldn't complain...its just that sometimes I feel so overwhelmed and I feel like I am doing it all. I try not to ever imagine being a single mother, but when I do....it really makes me appreciate all that I have and how lucky I am to have JR, even if I think he could do more sometimes!
I have felt very good the last couple of days...My house has been CLEAN for a week now..of course it could use a good mopping, but who does that every day? I am going to try to get it done tonight. I went grocery shopping on Wednesday and I actually took the time to get better food for us. Yesterday, Logan had a good hearty lunch, complete with meat and fruit...he had a handful of grapes, which I have learned to wait until after his main course has been eaten, otherwise he will only eat grapes. For a snack later on he had some apple sauce. I felt so wonderful knowing that he was eating healthy and so was I ...I traded the grapes for a handful of blackberries. We had a good lunch again today, and I chose apple slices instead of blackberries, which Logan wanted to try and ended up LOVING!
I really think there is something to be said about eating healthy in a clean home...it has totally changed my mood! I even did the dishes and cut up a watermelon today, later I plan to sweep and mop and yesterday Logan and I played in the sun while I FINALLY finished all my Thank you cards from our wedding that was 2 months ago!!! Talk about procrastination!
Anyway, I am actually enjoying staying busy....but I really need a new word for "potty" and I would love to see some results! BTW: Logan slept in HIS bed last night...it started a little rough at first, but it turned out well and that is the important part...hopefully, soon he will be able to go to bed all on his own without any patting of the back or other soothing methods!!!!!

17 weeks

So today I am officially 17 weeks pregnant, I seriously cant believe that I am almost to the half-way point. My pregnancy seems to be going by pretty quickly, and without too many complaints....but I've done this before...the hard part starts at around 30 weeks!!! Other than my bladder problems....the feeling that I have a full bladder all the time and then can barely pee! It is really annoying at night!
Yesterday was JR's 26th birthday. Nikki and Travis were nice enough to have us over for dinner, for a celebration. Travis grilled steaks, we had some garlic bread, pasta salad, and corn...IT WAS YUMMY! During dinner, I was bragging on how proud I was that Logan has been sleeping in his big boy bed without any problems...I spoke too soon! Logan had an aweful night last night. I think it had a lot to do with the fact that I decided it was time to get him 100% off his bottle. I put his milk in a sippy cup, but he wanted nothing to do with it....he neverdrinks milk from a sippy cup. He usually has a bottle at night and a bottle first thing in the morning, and the rest of the say he gets water, or watered down juice from a sippy cup. Anyway, he wouldn't go to sleep, he cried and cried....I was trying so hard not to give in and let him sleep with us. I had tried pretty much everything..I got in the day bed with him, I read a book, I patted his back, rubbed his tummy, played with his hair. After about an hour...it was 11:45...I finally broke down and made him a bottle. He drank it, and I thought he was falling asleep...but nope! The crying continued, after another 45 minutes, JR got up and sat beside his bed, patting his back and FINALLY, Logan fell asleep. YAY! At about 2:30 He woke up crying again, and was standing right next to me...I know I should have stuck to my guns....I know in my head that consistancy is the best method...BUT I WAS EXHAUSTED, so I just put him in bed with us. I am hoping tonight will be better.
We have also started with Logan's potty training....which may have also contributed to the horrible night, but I doubt it, since yesterday was just the introduction. Today has been filled with...."Logan, do you need to potty?" I do this just about every 30 min...I am already sick of the word potty! HAHA

busy weekend again

The weekend is over and it is back to the every day mundane schedule that is my life. Friday was pretty tame...I spent most of the day at my grandparents house...but more on that later. JR and I went out to dinner...I seriously cant remember the last time we ate at a restraunt together. Afterwards we headed to HEB to get supplies for Saturday.
Saturday we got to the beach about 11:30 and didn't get home until 6:30...so I guess you could say we had a long day at the beach! We had so much fun. The day didn't start so well. My sister-in-law's dog died that morning, so that was really sad. Sometimes I feel like people are really hard on Brittany and I could see that she was really upset about the situation, and I guess the Mama Bear in me wanted to stick up for her. The rest of the day was great, every one seemed to have a good time...I think everyone got sunburned! Ha! Except for Logan...I reapplied his 70+ SPF constantly, so he stayed protected. I stayed pretty protected, except for the backs of my legs...grrr! Oh well! It is already pretty much gone! After the beach we all showered and changed and met up at Joes Crabshack on the Seawall. All in All...it was a great day.
Sunday, I headed to community service and JR and Logan slept in...After they got up, they went to Home Depot to buy some supplies for getting our dogs OUTSIDE!!! YAY! Dexter and Dezi Lu are driving me crazy...I will take them out to potty and as soon as we come in they will pee and poop in the house!!! AHHHHH!. Dezi Lu is about to go into heat so Dexter is going around the house marking his territory on EVERYTHING! So we finally made a place outside where the dogs can play. There were several place where they could get out of the yard so we got all that fixed up.
Today the appraiser came by at 11:00 and said that he should have the report written up by tomorrow afternoon, so thats nice that we dont have to wait so long. I am thinking that he is going to appraise it somewhere around 70,000...which is good. Walter is asking 85,000 which I think is way over-priced. He did say that it was over-priced but he didn't say exactly what he was going to appraise it at. I am hoping it isn't anything higher than 70,000....but it would be awesome if it was at 60 - 65,000. I am trying to decide now if I also want to may for an inspection. I hate paying all this money for something that we may not even go through with, but if we get it inspected we will have more bargaining power to get him to lower the price...now we just have to figure out how to get him to lower the interest rate which is at 9.5 %.

Baby Boy Ward's Blanky

This is the blanket that I made for Nikki's baby boy. It is the first blanket I have ever made and I plan on making one for my little bundle as well...I just wanted to show it off, and I am proud to say that Nikki washed it, and it didn't completely unravel!!! YAY!

Taking care of business!

We are getting it together...finally. I have put our family on a strict budget in order to get us back on track!!! YEA! This weekend is our annual Mother's Day at the Beach!!! I am so excited! We have an appraiser coming out to the house on Monday...we were hoping to get him here this week, but it didn't work out...I am just glad to finally be getting it done. As many of you know, JR and I are looking in to purchasing our home...SCARY! My biggest fear is that we will buy it and not be able to sell it when we get ready to move AHHHH!
As far as AI...I was actually a little disappointed....Alison was kicked off, and although she isn't my top two, I was hoping she would make it to the top three....mainly because I wanted to see DANNY GO! But oh well...I am glad that my voting for Kris paid off...it was the first time I voted in the past 4 seasons!
Baby Luck is kicking!!! Also a very exciting occurance...we have 24 more days until the anatomy scan in which we find out the sex of the baby. I am not as convinced as I was at the beginning that its a girl...but we'll see. I have been talking to JR about scheduling another ultrasound, maybe sometime in July or something...only because I am crazy, and I will go crazy unless they tell me with 100% certainty the sex of the baby. Even then I will be worried that they were wrong...AGAIN!
Anyway, I am sidetracked and have no idea where I was going with any of this!

AI

I forgot to post about idol...Last night was duets night....I somehow missed the first half of the show. I didn't get to see Adam or Alison...but I did see there duet...which was wonderful...it was also rock night, with Slash as the guest appearance. I thought Kris did well...I also think that Danny did AWEFUL...he was horrible...he screamed the song...lI hated it and want him gone..I also think that the judges are biased towards him. He did okay in the duet, but I thought Kris did well too. My two least favorite people are Danny and Alison. Alison did awesome in the duet, so I think that saved her for this week....I dont like them for the same reason....they are the same EVERY week. There is no change....at least Alison is honest...she is a rocker, and when she makes a record (which she will) I know exactly what it will be like....With Danny, I have a feeling he will end up singing gospel or christian music...and that he is putting on an act as to what type of artist he will be.
No predictions this week....I want Danny GONE! I even voted for the first time last night!

A long day!

Whoa! Today is still going, and it has been such a long day....its only 3:00! I got up at 8:00...which I am sure is late for most of you....BUT it's extremely early for me. I had to shower and get ready for my doctor appointment which went well. I finally talked to my dad...we had a long conversation...turns out my little sister got really sick and had to go to the ER...she had kidney stones! How crazy is that? I talked to her a little bit today, she said she was really sore..which she misspelled as "soar" Hahahaha. I love my little sister! I still haven't spoken to my mom, and I am trying to get an update on my grandfather, but haven't gotten in touch with them yet. Oh...How crazy...my grandmother just called...My grandfather is doing much better, they said he will probably be able to leave the rehab facility tomorrow. Hopefully, we will be able to go see him on Friday. I feel badly that I haven't been to see him, but I am a little wary of taking Logan...hospitals and rehab centers are full of germs...but that isn't even the real reason...I dont want to cause any extra stress and 2 years olds can be stressful! Anyway, thats about it...The doctor's visit was fine...I am back to my pre pregnancy weight...I gained 4 pounds this month...which is right on target...it is recommended that you gain 1 pound per week...YAY! My goal is to stay under 170! Which is doable...and will mean that I can only gain 23 lbs. I gained 24 with Logan so I know that its possible. I think my biggest problem will be month 7 and 8. As long as I dont gain more than 35 lbs I will be happy! As long as I have a healthy baby, I will be even happier!

Am I crazy???

My stomach gets bigger as the day goes on. I swear, I start off one size and by the evening I am a completely different size...tell me what you think....there is no manipulation techniques, I wasn't pushing out my belly or sucking in...So am I crazy? Do I look bigger in the second picture?

The one on the left was taken around 1:00 this afternoon, and the one on the right was taken at 6:30 this evening. Hmmm...I'm not crazy, am I?

I finally go to the doctor tomorrow...Yeah! I am so excited, I am really wanting to hear the baby's heart beat again.

Showers and Crawfish

Weekend Update:
So this weekend we went up to Chris and Alexa's home for Nikki's baby shower! She was so adorable. I had so much fun watching her open the gifts. I am a very wierd girl in the fact that I am not big on showers...I dont particularly like bridal or baby showers...This one was great!!!! There was so much going on, and everyone seemed to be having a really good time. Nikki was just way too cute. The way she would giggle at some of her gifts, and it would crack me up. I can't wait for the baby to get here...she is going to be such a great mom. JR and I got her a little piggy bank, some bibs, receiving blankets, a gift basket of baby bath stuff....with a Goodnight Moon book included, and I FINALLY finished her blanket. I made Lil Wodie a blanket..and forgot to take a picture of it...it is blue, yellow, and white. It was my first blanket to make, so hopefully it stays intact...but I was pretty impressed with it! The baby bath stuff, was full of my favorite product...Johnson & Johnson Bedtime Bath. The basket has the wash, shampoo, massage gel, some rags, and a towel....but I specifically picked it because of the book!
After the shower, we drove up to Spring for my sister-in-law's crawfish boil. I got to have my lovely corn! YAY! I sure hope this baby likes corn!!! Logan played with a little boy who was around his age. They found a couple of pool floats and decided they were toys...both boys got in one of the loungers and laid together for a few minutes...Logan just laughed and laughed. then they used them like trampolines and jumped all over them...it was hilarious...and it entertained them for about half an hour which was nice...I got to sit for a bit. It was also nice to hear people say that I looked great for 4 months, and that some people didn't even notice...although I did wear a flowy type shirt. It was nice to see Logan interacting with other kids. He really was interested in the pool and all the kids that were swimming. After a while the kiddie pool section finally cleared out so I stripped Logan down and I put him in there...I was wearing shorts so I stood in there with him...he wore this ducky floaty that goes around his waist and on each arm...he was having so much fun playing with a basketball. I wanted to see his what his reaction would be if he couldn't touch the bottom, so I pulled him into the middle and let go (dont forget he had a floatation device...I wasn't going to let him drown) His reaction was HILARIOUS....but the poor thing was TERRIFIED. JR and I cracked up, then I grabbed him so that he could put his feet back down...he was so scared that he wouldn't lower his feet and was hanging on to me for dear life. It is one of those "had to be there things" his face was seriously priceless.
Sunday- I went out to do some community service....I got home aroud 4:15...it was really neat to see how JR did all by himself. We have been doing pretty well with keeping the house clean. JR was supposed to work on getting the dogs outside...I do not want them in the house ANYMORE. The problem is that my house constantly stinks, and it is the dogs fault. I like my dogs, but I want them out of my house.
Next weekend we have Mother's Day at the beach and then I am going to do community service again on Sunday! Then, finally, the week after that we will have a weekend with nothing to do!!! Well I shouldn't jinx it!
I haven't heard any news on my grandfather...but should be talking to my grandmother this evening...thank you for everyones kind words!

Losing my mind

I have a lot on my mind these days. I am overwhelmed right now and because of that I cant think straight. I had a major craving for some taco bell today. I was in galveston running a few errands and I was thinking about grilled stuffed burritos. The problem is that I got completely turned around. I got lost..I lived in Galveston for almost 5 years...how is it possible that I got lost? The saddest part is I got lost TWICE! I was at Target buying some gifts for a baby shower tomorrow...and as I was checking out I forgot to have them scan the registry.....UGHH...then I headed up to taco bell...I ended up at Jack in the box. I turned around in an effort to get to taco bell and ended up on the other side of galveston at McDonald's all the way on the East end...ughhhh. I just can't seem to keep my mind focused on anything. I just finished eating...now I feel like I am going to vomit. I SERIOUSLY need some sleep!
