First, let me just say that Logan's nose is healing. I have been keeping neosporin on it. I dont know if my thinking is true, but for some reason I have it in my head that it will help it heal faster and with minimal scaring. Not sure if it's true, but at the very least it will help fight off any infection (at least that's what the tube says). I figure it can't hurt. Plus Logan is a scab picker. He has several scars already from where he has picked a scab over and over. Two of those are from tiny mosquito bites that he just wouldn't let heal. Trust me, I have tried keeping it covered with band-aids, but he always finds a way to pick. Ughhh! I think it will be easier to catch him picking since this one is on his FACE!
Day Two of the healing process
Landry insisted I take a picture of her, since I was taking a picture of Logan...this is from this morning, so her hair hasn't been brushed yet...but those eyes...she is such a beauty - even with her crazy hair! LOL
Now, on to more exciting news. I drove by the "new" house yesterday and was disappointed to see that there was no progress. I talked to JR and said it was upsetting because when they said construction would start on Tuesday, I guess I was expecting some sort of- well, building. He said that construction starting doesn't mean anything except that they will start ordering materials...it doesn't actually mean ground breaking. This was a bit of a disappointment for me. I decided to drive by again today...dont really know why - it was a split second decision in which I went straight instead of turning in to my neighborhood. To my surprise...there were workers out there, and apparently had started this morning, because the framing has begun. I was so excited!!! It is actually happening! I can't believe it!
This is not a great picture, but you can see the work being done...I felt a little funny taking a picture while people were working...especially since they kept looking at me....so I just snapped one very quickly and drove on! I dont know why I felt funny....but I did! Maybe before we leave for the football game tonight we can drive by and take another photo.
Tonight we are headed to New Braunfels for the second round of the play-offs. This is the Area Championship game, and I am so happy that we don't have travel far for this game. All thoughts of Thanksgiving plans have been put on hold until after tonight. It all depends on if we win or not. If we win, it will also matter where we will be playing. I am really hoping to go to Galveston for Thanksgiving this year. I haven't seen my grandmother in a few months...since July to be more specific...and although I talk to her once a week, I miss her. So, hopefully it will work out and we can go down for a visit. If however we end up doin Thanksgiving at my mom's house...at least I know I am only one more month away from getting to see my Nanny. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday...and I would love to spend it with my favorite person - my Nanny.
Have a great weekend everyone...and now that I know the house is being built, maybe I will stop blogging about it so much! LOL

Yay! Finally! I guess it really didn't take that long, but if probably felt like it to you. SO what's going in that frame? The slab? It's so tall! Don't stop blogging - I look forward to the photos. I think construction is interesting. My dad does it and Travis' does a part of it. So I think it's only natural that I should be interested in it.
I'm glad Logan is healing quickly. So scary! The Neosporin is a good idea. If you prevent infection, then there will be less scaring. Aiden picks at his mosquito bites too. Thing is, I NEVER see him doing it. It will just suddenly be a bloody spot. Or it will happen in the middle of the night. Oh kids.
I'm not really sure what goes in there. JR said they will put dirt in it, and then do the plumbling stuff before they pour the slab. I guess, I will just have to watch and see the step by step process.
I rarely see Logan picking either, but all of a sudden I will see blood on his leg. Ughhh - When I do catch him I stop him, and then I try to watch for it....he gets really mad at me when I tell him to stop! LOL
