The last 2.1 weeks have been hell, and I am looking at a few more days of it. The first week, as you know, I dealt with my tooth and all the pain that came with it. The second week, I went to get the tooth fixed, only to have a massive infection and guess what...MORE PAIN. The knot that I talked about yesterday is still there, however it is smaller than yesterday, and today is my last day of antibiotics. I am going to call the DDS after lunch to check in with them. I know that the knot is still infection. It started out covering almost the entire right side of my face, then I got lanced and the knot went down just a bit and I started the new antibiotics and each day the knot got smaller. So my fear is that I will still have some infection, and no more antibiotics, then the infection will just grow again and I will have it swell the entire right side of my face again. Ughhhh. Also, I still have the jaw thing going on. It is worse in the morning. When I go to brush my teeth, I have a very hard time getting my back teeth or brushing my tongue, because I can't open my mouth wide enough...and you can just forget about flossing. I usually take care of that after lunch, when my jaw has had time to open up a little more. Still if I try to open it too much it makes a popping noise and I get this lovely pain all the way into my ear! To make things even better, I started this week, and of course I have these wonderfully awesome cramps! YAY! So I get to look forward to a few more awesome days...Seriously, this has to end soon. 15 days of being miserable...GROSS!
So here's the oopsie daisy. Every night I tell Logan to go potty before going to bed. He hasn't had an accident in FOREVER...seriously it has to be about 2 or 3 months. If I go to bed before JR, I tell him, "Make sure Logan goes potty before going to bed." I also tell Logan the same thing. Last night I was exhausted - probably due to a lack of iron - so I went to bed and told the boys to take care of business. Apparently, Logan didn't pee before bed, AND JR let him sleep with us, after I have worked my butt off to get him to sleep in his own room by himself. So JR wakes up pissed off because he got pissed on. Now, somehow, I was spared from the pee....for once I didn't get the raw end of the deal. JR was so mad, saying he was going to be late for work because he had to shower AGAIN! In my eyes, it's his own damn fault. He should have made sure Logan went to the bathroom before going to bed...and on top of that - he should have gone through the ritual I have put in place that has Logan sleeping in his own bed, by himself. But JR takes the easy way out - he does what he thinks benifits him...and FINALLY after nearly 4.5 years, it backfired. He got pissed on! Honest to God...usually I am the one to suffer the consequences of his actions, and in a way, this case is no different. I am the one who has to give Logan another bath, since we all bathed last night, I am the one that has to wash the sheets, and the clothes. I am the one who will have to get him back on schedule with sleeping in his own room....but at least I have something to hold on to...JR got peed on. It really shouldn't cause so much delight for me, but it does! Maybe JR will learn that I am not talking to the wall when I say things...I doubt it, but I am sure he will make sure Logan goes to the bathroom before going to bed next time...and just in case, he may even learn to go through the routine so that Logan sleeps in his own bed. It just makes me mad that I have worked so hard to get Logan to sleep on his own...I have kept with a routine that keeps him from peeing in the bed, and in ONE single night, JR screws it all up. I understand that JR doesn't know how to manage his time. He stays up until he gets tired, then he just goes to straight to bed. He doesn't want to have to deal with anything...he's sleepy, so once in a blue moon when I want to go to bed a little early - I expect him to take care of things...guess that's my fault too! Oh well, like I said - maybe this has taught him a lesson, probably only a very small one, but I'll take it!
