Oh Happy Day!

Today has been truly wonderful! Two nights ago, I guess I had finally had enough..JR and I broke down and actually did it. We forced Logan to go to sleep in his own bed - the sad part is...I had to give back his bed, which is SOOOO comfortable! LOL The first night was great!! Okay, I cheated...he didn't take a nap during the day so he actually fell asleep on the couch and I moved him upstairs. Luckily, he never woke up and he stayed in his bed ALL NIGHT! Last night was night #2. It wasn't nearly as rough as I expected. At bed time I went upstairs with the computer so he could watch a movie...I need to get another DVD player, just haven't done it yet. Anywho, I turned on the movie, kissed him goodnight, said out I love yous, and left. He stayed in the bed until 4 this morning, at which time he came into the room crying because the computer had died and his movie was no longer on. So I went downstairs, got the computer charger and set up the movie again...he was asleep before I even hit play. I think it was just waking up in the middle of the night and not having it on that bothered him. He slept for the next few hours and then came into the room again at 6:00 this morning and climbed into bed with me. Yes I cheated AGAIN, because I let him stay. Tongiht, I am hoping he will make it the entire night and morning...we will see!!!Plus, I am going to try my hardest not to cheat!LOL
Now, on to today. We got up this morning and did the morning routine. Washed Logan's face...washed mine...then brushed our teeth. I always let Logan brush his while I brush mine...then I brush his again...just to help him out! Wink wink! Today, I brushed Landry's as well...I usually do the wash rag brush...but today was our first tooth brush brush!!!I just used water, but still, it was a "first". The girl only has four teeth...which still seems crazy to me..Logan had a mouth full by this age, but no matter...every baby is different! We went downstairs to have breakfast. I had a bowl of cereal, Logan had 2 bowls of cereal, and Landry had some cheerios and a handful of sweet potato puffs! The kids have been pretty good all day. For lunch I made so grilled chicked bites (my version of healthy chicken nuggets!) some green beans, dry cheerios, a glass of milk, and a fresh peach! Landry had two handfuls of Sweet potato puffs, two handfuls of cheerios, (baby) green beans...in which Logan took a bite! LOL, (baby) apple sauce...in which Logan also had a few bites!!! Hahaha I still haven't given her any meats yet...but that will come soon enough. Another big thing or transition is that I started Landry on the sippy cup today! She will still get a bottle throughout the day, at least for a while...but we are going to give the sippy cup a go! I can't believe how much she is growing..It almost makes me want to consider having another baby....ALMOST! LOL
Anyway, so much is happening...I was so proud of the meal that I made for Logan...HEALTHY!!! I feel like such a good mommy! hahah
