Yesterday was AMAZING! I got so much of the dresser done...not all of it, but a lot! Woo hoo! Logan really hates loud noises (such as a sander or vacuum cleaner) but he quickly got over it! Even though it is still damp outside, Logan came out and played and played and played, He drove his car around the yard, he drew on the concrete with chalk, he had a blast! Time got away from me, so when I realized how hungry I was, it was already 1:00. Logan and I went in, and ate lunch. He helped me clean up and put the dishes in the dish washer, then we worked on some puzzles and read a book together. I decided not to give him a bath, I knew he would be going back outside after he woke up from his nap. By 2:00 he was asleep! Woo hoooooooo! I went back outside and worked more on the dresser. At 3:30 he woke up from his nap. All was well. He was such a good kid all day yesterday, I could actually envision myself with two of them and I built up a little confidence in myself as a parent! We went back out to play..I took special time to draw with him and play with him, then I let him go on his own while I went back to sanding. JR got home and was little help!! LOL Actually I think that Logan had such a good day with mommy that he just didn't want to leave my side. I could have really used JR's help in keeping Logan entertained while I cooked dinner, but it was a no go, and I had to cook with him under my feet the whole time! Even then, he was a great kid! Then we let him go diaper free for a bit, and low and behold he started holding his wee wee...I asked if he needed to go potty and he looked at me and said "yes" I was in shock, I took him to the potty and he actually went! WOW! Proud mommy moment. He had a bit of difficulty controlling his wee wee, so some of the pee went awry but, the point is...he went potty and was aware of the fact that he had to go!!! YAY for my big boy! Later he got his bath and he even let JR put him to bed!** All was good in the Luck House!
**Logan doesn't really do so well when JR puts him to sleep...he usually doesn't really fall asleep and then runs back and forth from his room to ours.....He actually went to sleep last night, but did wake up about 12 and come to me. I ended up having to lay with him until he fell back asleep!
Today, I was hoping to have a repeat of yesterday...Ummmmm! NOT SO MUCH! He has been crying all day, I can't figure out what he wants, he has been throwing fits. Ughhhh, all the confidence I gained yesterday has gone out the window! I am already worn out! (This has also put some perspective into why I get so tired...maybe it isn't just the pregnancy, maybe it has a lot to do with Logan!) It has been a very hard day and its only 12:20 Grrr! Hoping that it gets better....I want the Logan from yesterday back again! No, he isn't running a fever, he isn't sick, he got plenty of sleep...I am hoping he is just getting hungry...but it certainly doesn't explain him acting like this at breakfast!
