Breakfast for dinner!

Yesterday was such a long day...I thought it would never end. I didn't get home until nearly 9:00! JR cooked scarambled eggs, biscuits, sausage and bacon last night for dinner and even had me call once I got to the exit so that my eggs would be fresh! So sweet! I got a great surprise...on my way home from Galveston, I stopped at Nikki's to pick up some mail, and I swung by the old house and there it was! MY BABY BEDDING! My old boss sent it to us as a gift for my baby shower, and I was worried that it would be sent to the old house..I called the post office and they assured me that all packages would be delivered to the new address...BS. I had a feeling that would happen so I am glad I went over to check! Anyway, got it home, got it washed, and put on the bed....Sure hope it really is a girl!!! Anyway, Logan was so interested in what we were doing and I truly think he is starting to get the idea that something is going on, but he just cant grasp what that something is...I seriously believe that just like having a baby, no matter how many books you read or how much advice you get, or how much you have babysat for others...you can't fully understand until you are in the throes of it all. I think its the same for explaining what is about to happen.. Anyway, Logan wanted to get in the crib, so we let him...I have read that if an older child is interested and curious you should allow them to try it....although they also said this about breastfeeding and there is no way in hell Logan is going to try that out again! Ummmm....NO WAY JOSE! He jumped around in that crib for about 15 minutes...he was so funny. I am trying to post the video on facebook now, so take a look if you get a chance. (Hopefully it works, if it isn't on there...check back later)
The doctor visit went well, she is predicting that this baby will be an average (7 1/2 - 8 lbs.) baby. My question then is why have I gained so much more weight? AND I think I found a stretch mark last night and now I cant stop looking! Ughhh! JR was so funny last night...Because of my busy day, my sister-in-law, Lisa, watched Logan for me...her husband, Jason (JR's brother) got home around 5:30 so Lisa could go to work, so he had the boys until about 6 when JR got there to pick up Logan. He called at 6:30 to tell me he was home and when I walked through the door at nearly 9, he went on to tell me what a pain Logan was being! Ummmm...not even 2 1/2 hours! JR and I switch off on bath nights....I do Monday and Friday, and he does Wednesday, so by the time he got around to giving Logan his bath, JR was so exhausted...He just couldn't believe that he had Logan all by himself, had to cook dinner, give the bath...blah blah blah....All I could do was smile and think FINALLY he got a little taste of what I do on a daily basis! Usually when JR has Logan by himself, Logan is wonderful, so this was the first time JR got to experience the exhaustion of Logan!
Also, I have now been told by several people that my son has a completely different personality when I am not around. Basically, when I am there, he turns into a little monster! What the heck! How do I get my child to be the sweet little perfect angel for me that he is for everyone else??? Ideas...Thoughts...Comments all welcome!
