I am down to just 3 more weeks! 21 more days and I will finally have my baby! WOOHOO!
Yesterday turned out to be far more busy/traumatic than I anticipated. My appointment with the doctor was at 11:00, I was there by 10:30. Logan actually slept most of the way which I thought was odd. I have officially gained 40 pounds---HOLY COW---26 pounds really wasn't difficult to lose, but 40???? I am in for some hard work! Anyway, I saw the doctor and went through the whole song a dance...my doctor wasn't there, which they let me know a few days in advance, but I chose to keep the appt. anyway. Once again, there was difficulty finding the heart beat...which IS STILL a little freaky, I dont know how or why but for some reason it takes them forever to find it, but I can feel her moving all around while they are searching. Are these the first signs of a difficult daughter??? The nurse noticed my shreck like leg (the right one) She asked a bunch of questions and made it a point to bring it up to the doctor, who then asked me many of the same questions, then measured both calves. My right one is 3 cm larger than my left. Then came the concerned faces....meanwhile my child is kicking the wall over and over and over again, throwing his car and repeating, Mama, Mama, Mama, Mama. He doesn't stop until I acknowledge him, which he then proceeds to tell me some jibber jabber, in which I respond and try to get back to why the doctor is looking at me that way. Turns out she thinks I may have developed a blood clot in my leg and sends me to a Vascular surgeon in Friendswood to get an ultrasound of my leg. I drive over there only to find out that the office I have been sent to doesn't even have an ultrasound machine. Have I mentioned that Logan is being a pain, I have lost my patience, I cry the whole way there, tell JR that I cannot possibly take Logan to another appt. by myself, and he is sitting in his car seat screaming! Anyway, so this office sends me to the Vascular department at the University Hospital Clinic in Galveston! It is 2:15 when I get there...Logan is still behaving badly and I notice that his cheeks are flushed...It then hits me that he might not be feeling so great and this could be attributing to his behavior. I feel his head....HE'S burning up! WOW! I am not winning the mommy of the year award. I go into guilt mode, thinking of every time I raised my voice or threatened to spank...what kind of mother am I, I didn't even notice my son was sick! I get the ultrasound done, it is clear...no blood clot...great news, I then go to the pediatric dept. No, I dont have an appt. but I think my son is sick, I am already there, can you take a look at him. The doc. takes a look, says he COULD be coming down with a mild cough, but he doesn't have a fever and if he is getting sick, I have caught it very early. Ummmm.....tell that to my child who has been begging me to notice ALL DAY, I am sure he has a different opinion about me catching it early!
Finally, I went to my mother-in-laws house to pick up the puppies, got them home, snuggled with Logan, gave him some tylenol cough and then cooked dinner....yeah I didn't get home until 6 - so It was a very long day, and I didn't even get to do the things I needed to get done....
So, since I didn't get a chance to stop by the post office in La Marque...I will be calling them today! I am so irritated about the mail!
Well, Happy Thursday everyone!

I'm glad you don't have a blood clot. Scary! The tech always had trouble finding Aiden's heartbeat too because he moved around so much. By the time she would start to get it, he would roll over and she would have to start all over on the other side. Crazy kids.
Why did you pick up the puppies? Did you take all the dogs back to your house?
I hope Logan feels better soon! Being sick is annoying.
We just brought Dezi and the puppies. We have several people wanting to come see the puppies, so we brought them up here. I will be taking them back next Wed. Plus it kind of gives Carol a small break!
Logan seems to be feeling better...I am convinced that it is probably allergies! I haven't been feeling wonderful either!
