today

Today is going to be a busy day! I am headed to the dreaded MALL! But I need to get Landry and Logan some new clothes! I am excited, but I hate doing it because I always seem to overspend. YIKES! I am going to the mall because I need to get the entire family some clothes to wear for our family photo shoot! I am thinking of jeans and white button ups for the family, but it will be torture to try and find some sort of button up shirt for Landry! So I will probably change my mind and end up with something else, but I am going to try. JR also needs a new pair of jeans. I need a belt, until I can get my jeans altered. Can you believe that I dont own a belt? I guess I have never needed one! hmmmm. After the mall, I am headed to Hobby Lobby for some ribbon so that I can make some matching bows for her new outfits. I have really enjoyed making her bows!
Then to HEB for some grocery shopping...but I am hoping JR will be home by then so I can drop at least one of the kids off before I hit up the grocery store. He had to work again at 2 in the morning so I am hoping he will be home around noon, althought he will probably want to sleep.
Last night, Logan came and slept with us. Ughhhh....we decided that we didn't want him watching movies to go to bed anymore, and it worked out fine the first couple of nights, but last night I guess he crept into bed with me at some point after JR left. HE went to bed on his own, but I guess when JR left at 1:30, he might have woken Logan up, because when I got up this morning at 7 he was in the bed with me. We Can NOT let this become a habit. We will see how it goes tonight.
Landry's cheerleading outfit, will be completed tomorrow. I could not be more excited. She is such a doll. My mom tells me every time I see her, "She is not a doll, Sara. She is a baby, and a baby is not meant for dressing up like you would a doll." I dont really care what she says....I like to dress her up in cute outfits, and seriously....who goes and buys bland clothes for their baby girl? No one! I dont even know where you would find t-shirts for a baby girl! LOL I am a t-shirt and jeans kind of girl, but there is plenty of time for that later, and Landry can make up her mind on her own. If she wants to be a girly girl....then I will be happy with that. If she wants to be a t-shirt and jeans girl, then I will be happy with that too. Ultimately, its her choice...but for now, she cant make those decisions, so I am going to enjoy dressing her any way I want for as long as I can!
