Almost there

We are almost to Friday. Ready for Friday night football again! We have another home game, this week we will play Smithville! They are a bigger school so hopefully we can pull out another win making us 3-0! I think its funny that after the games I hear some of the parents talking about having another undefeated season, or going to state again...I mean, my Dad is the head coach, of course, I would LOVE for these two things to happen. Yes, we seem to have a good team this year, but just because we have won two games, ....well, lets just not get too far ahead of ourselves! I dont mean to sound negative...I want my dad and his players, and the town to have another state championship, but I just dont like to jinx things either! LOL When it comes to sports, or pretty much any type of game in general I become very supersticious. In fact, I just read a friends blog and she talks about the same thing...I have to say that I completely agree with her in the fact that it makes me feel as though I have some sort on control over something I have NO control in. LOL I believe in saying the same "Let's go Blue" when its 3rd down and we are on defense and they only need a few yards for that 1st down. Anyway, I am pumped...not only that but NFL football starts tomorrow and we got to listen to the Aggies win this past Saturday. I LOVE football! I can't wait for more! LOL
I still haven't heard from the seamstress, but she asured me that Landry's cheerleading uniform would be completed by this Friday...then I have to get it Monogrammed, so the final product won't be finished until next weeks game......but at least it will be finished in time for her pictures!
JR, had to drive to Dallas today, for work.....had to drive all the way up there and will be home tonight, the weather is nasty, so please say a prayer for hi safe return home!
