Friday!!

I am very excited that today is Friday...The last couple of nights has been a little difficult. We are making the transition from Landry sleeping with me to her own crib. She always takes naps in the crib, but she has always slept with me. So Wednesday night we gave it a try...She would sleep for a little bit a wake crying....it was 2 am, when she finally went down and stayed down until 8 am. So I was hoping last night would go a little smoother...it did not...again it was 2 am, before she went to bed for good, although she didn't get up until 8:30 this morning....30 minutes longer! Yay!... I am hoping tonight will go better, but it will be up to JR, I am going to bed at a decent hour! I am exhausted! Because, Landry has been going through this...it has thrown Logan for a loop. The last two nights he was up late and slept in late, and although I knew I needed to wake him up...I couldn't bring myself to do it! I am hoping we can get back on track this weekend with the help of JR...fingers crossed.
Speaking of JR...we are both really loving his new job. He is home so much more than he ever was before. Sometimes he comes home for a couple hours during the day...sometimes he just takes a nap, but most of the time he plays with Logan and it is a really big help. Things are going really well for us right now and I am just enjoying it. Next Friday is going to be an eventful day - first, it is payday - which is always wonderful, but on top of that it is the day that our income tax return is supposed to be deposited - YAY! I am very happy that we will be paying off a few things and getting a little something for ourselves...the problem is JR NEVER stops thinking about what he wants to do with his money - I think he has settled on a new computer...he wants to be able to take it with him to work so he can watch DVD's during his down time, or work on a proposal...anyway...our big gift to ourselves is new furniture! Our couches are horrible, and they still smell like dog! So, we are getting a new living room set! We were going to get a king size bed...but since JR wants a computer and I want a vacation!!!!!....we decided to wait and get it later. I am really excited about being able to go gambling...I have been wanting to do it for a while now, so we are making two trips! One at the end of Feb. for my sister's 21st birthday and one either March 12 or 19...Our anniversary is the 17th so we are trying to decide whether to do it the weekend before or after...I am pretty sure it will be the weekend after though! Although payday will be on the 12th...sooooooo, hard decision! LOL I am also excited to say that other than a few minor things and JR's student loans - we will be nearly OUT of debt! Now, I am just hoping that my car will make it one more year - And next year I will be getting a new one with the income tax money! yay!
