Progress!

Landry FINALLY peed in the potty! Now, first let me say that she did it about a month ago, and it was more of an accident, plus I was so excited that I think I actually scared her. LOL We have been working on peeing in the potty since Monday, and I am just so excited it happened. We still have a lot of work to do, but this was the break through I was waiting for. She had started to pee on the floor, but I stopped her midway and got her to the potty where she finished her business. Basically, I need for that to happen a few more times, so she can recognize that what she is feeling means she needs to go potty. Then Voila - we should only have "accidents" and only diapers at night, and then no more diapers. Obviously this is a ways off...but I am trying this new thing called optimism! Hopefully now that we have peed in the potty once, it will be easier from here on. Then I have to get her used to panties...shouldn't be a problem...Logan was the same way - diapers, pull-ups, undies...if he had anything on, he would pee in it. I am praying for continued progress today! Woohoo
