My best friend Dana's birthday was 20 days ago. Unfortunately due to her very busy work schedule and me having kids, we weren't able to celebrate until last night! Doctor Dana lives in New Braunfels now which is only 30 minutes from where I live, but its still hard for us to get together because of schedules. I absolutely love this woman! We went to Trudy's for some more of our favorite drink...Mexican Martini's! I love those things, but I hate getting up the following morning. Anyway, we had a really great time. I love hanging out with her...she's the best of the best.
Also celebrating, Landry is doing really great at using the potty. She has been going in the potty almost every time. HOWEVER - any of you that have gone through the potty training process know that when potty training, your child doesn't usually learn peeing in the potty at the same time as they learn to poop in the potty. At least, all of my friends tell me their child learned at different times...as did Logan. SOOOOO, while Landry is doing great with peeing, the pooping thing is still a ways off. Unfortunately, she is at a stage where she understands the sensations that come from needing to pee pee, but she isn't there yet on pooping, and because we use "au natural" method...there is nothing to catch the poop! So....we have that whole issue. Usually it isn't a big deal - maybe I am used to it, but most of the time I put a diaper on her around 5, because I know that she will usually poop somewhere between 5 and 6:30. As I mentioned above...I went out with Dana last night - Landry apparently didn't poop until around 9 - and unfortunately she didn't have a diaper on, so JR had to clean. OOPS!
