My first Blog

So this is my first blog...I have been thinking about starting one for a while now, but I dont exactly have an abundance of time on my hands. Lets see, right now I am just working my tail off. I started working out last Wednesday, I am finally starting to get over all the muscle soreness, although it has been hard, I am very proud of myself. JR and I have also been talking about eating healthier for quite sometime now, so I bought a Weight-Watchers cook book and I have cooked two meals from it, which I must say have been spectacular! I was actually pretty worried about it, but they really are quite tasty. I am trying to lose weight for my upcoming wedding, which isn't until July of next year, however; I figure I should probably start now so that maybe a year from now I wont have any problem with eating right and exercising regularly. I am also running around everywhere looking for a place to have my wedding and reception and dealing with the fact that I seem to be the only one excited about the wedding. Although, JR actually got into it last weekend when we were in Galveston, we went around looking at churches and different places and then the next day we sat down and starting making a list of all the people we wanted to invite. I was so excited to see him actually start making plans, I got overwhelmed. I sent my mom an email to ask her to help me make a list, and she basically said not right now, she is going through a lot with my sisters right now, but seriously this a major event in my life, the least she could have said was I am really busy right now but I will get to it as soon as I can, and I am so glad to see you so happy! But no...it was, I'm sorry I thought the wedding was NEXT summer. Grrrrr....Is it so much to ask that my own mother be happy for me, she was the one constantly asking when we were getting married, now that we are its like she could care less. Anyway, I guess thats about it for today.
