My ring is officially paid off!!! Woo Hoo! The IRS is officially paid off! Woo hoooooo! We dont owe any rent for the remainder of our lease which ends on March 31! JR is finally getting some new work boots and hopefully some work jeans and a new jacket. AND he is getting some contacts! YAY!
We signed Logan up for T-ball!! I am so excited, as is JR. Logan was pretty excited as well - at first. After we got home I asked if he was ready to play baseball...he said "No, I want to play Iron Man." Hahaha. Then we went looking for a left handed glove and a bat and he was SOOOOOO excited again! Too cute! I can't wait to see how this goes!
I have been running...well - I ran a mile for two days straight, and then I got sick yesterday...I am still sick - I hate it - I cant breathe, I feel like my head is going to explode and to help things along, my entire body is sore from running! LOL So, I am going to take today off as well and start running again tomorrow, no matter how I feel! I really want to try this book called, "17 Day Diet". I have heard about it on Dr. Phil over and over again. You can only get it from 17daydiet.com It isn't available in any stores. Basically it gives you 17 days of meals, tips, and instructions, and then it changes for the next 17 days so that your body avoids hitting plateaus! So I go to the website just to see how much one of these books is...I am thinking - okay its probably going to be $50...well to my surprise its $21.50. Also, on the website they have a calorie calculator and a BMI calculator. Basically the BMI takes your height and weight and tells you about what your BMI is...then you take your number and find what range you are in...underweight, normal, overweight, or obese. It does not actually measure the amount of fat on your body...so I type in my numbers, and I am normal - I am not surprised, so I type in JR's numbers and he is obese, I am a little surprised but not shocked. I mean lets face it he is definitely overweight and I figured he was bordering obesity. so I plug in some more numbers and find out that JR would have to weigh 185 pounds in order to be considered in the normal range....ummm - have you met my husband? Sorry, but that would be close to impossible. He just doesn't have the body build for 185. I mean, that it only 50 more pounds than what I weigh...Hell my sister weighs about 160...there is NO WAY he could possible get down to that weight. I would like for him to get down to 250, but according to the chart he would still be overweight. Anyway, this book allows for people to lose a good amount of weight, and considering JR needs to lose 130 pounds to get to 250....ummmm, he needs some help. JR says that we can probably get the book after the dust settles a little on the finances since we just spent almost all of our income tax return paying off debt and getting ahead on the bills. He doesn't work out, nor does he want to and he eats fast food for breakfast and lunch amost daily...I really feel like I have to do something fast before he has a heart attack. I try to talk to him about it, but he avoids it like the plague...I begged him to at least go to the doctor for a check-up...I asked to get his blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood work checked...he refuses. I dont know what to do - but if something happens to him, me and the kids are screwed. I seriously thought about telling him to cancel his health insurance - since he never uses it - and get life insurance...that way if something does happen at least the kids and I will have a little bit to get by for a minute...unless of course something happens and he ends up in the hospital - then he wont have health insurance and we wont be able to pay the bill...SO - he needs to keep the health insurance and ADD some life insurance! OR - he could just lose weight, eat healthy and exercise!!! I seriously am worried about him!
