Recovery

Yesterday was a long recovery day. Luckily, JR came home around noon and took care of the kids so that I could try to sleep off the residual effects of my illness. I felt bad that he had to spend his birthday like that, but I didn't really have a choice. I had a banana for breakfast yesterday - which I did not hold down, for lunch, I had 2 strawberries and 3 saltine crackers - and for dinner, we drove into Wimberley and met up with my sister at INOZ - a wonderful place right on the square and on the creek - it's beautiful. Anyway, I had 3 bites of salad, and 2 bites of a club sandwich. That is all my body could take....if it wasn't for the anti-nausea medication, I dont think I could have held any of it down. I am taking it as a good sign that I am hungry now though...maybe it means that I can hold food down...OR most likely it just means that I have had a handful of food in the last 48 hours and my body is begging for nutrients! LOL I could definitely take this opportunity to practice my portion control - hahahaha. Anyway, I am up and feeling better than I have in the past 2 days, so I am going to just be happy with that...AND it's Friday...although my husband has to work this weekend (unless it rains, which is forecasted- YAY)...so what could be better?
