Saturday

Well, I had every intention of going running this morning...however, Landry woke up a 6:45. Grrrr. I had decided that since it was the weekend, I could sleep in until 7 and then go run...but NOPE. Oh well, I will try to go do it when JR wakes up. Its pretty crappy outside anyway, so maybe it will clear up a little.
We had a great time with my parents. They stayed until 9:30. I think they were ready to leave but they had the kids with them and I put on Monsters Inc. while the adults ate dinner and they really didn't want to leave the movie! Hahaha...I love that movie. Landry didn't go to bed until 9:00 and the latest she usually ever goes to bed is 8:30 - so I really dont know why she thought it would be fun to wake up early! Anyway, we all had a great time...my biggest complaint - I told my mom that she would need to bring whatever it is they wanted to drink, because all we drink is water. My dad brought a 6 pack of Dos XX, my mom brought a 6 pack of diet coke, and they brought a 2 Liter of DR. Pepper, for the kids. I honestly cant remember the last time I had a soda, but man it looked good, as did the beer! LOL So when they left, they took the Diet coke and beer - but left the Dr. Pepper. I think I asked my mom to take it about 5 times...its just too tempting. As they were leaving, I ran to grab it and give it to her. All night long I would say, make sure you take the Dr. Pepper with you, and she would say - just give it to the kids...I would say, my kids dont drink soda - and she would tell me I'm mean to them. It was friendly banter, but at the end of the night when I took the Dr. Pepper to her, she told me again to let the kids have it...she really didn't want to have to lug it home. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! After they left, JR and I pored the remaining 1/2 of it down the sink! LOL
Today, I am going to head to my parents house to get their bed for our guest room and some book shelves. My mom had apparently began sanding them, but decided to give up on it, so she said that I could have them and she will let me borrow the sander to finish the job! This is so exciting...#1 - we will have bookshelves for the office, #2 I have a new project!!! I was really bored yesterday since the house was finished, I think I vacuumed twice, cleaned the toilets, mopped, I started to look for any type of dirt on the walls so that I could scrub it...I guess I am in a productive mood...give it some time - then all I will want to do is lay around. Ha
