Okay, #1, I dont know if you remember, but a while back I posted about a girl I went to school with who was shot in the arm and the leg. Well that was on April 20, she is doing great, but apparently the media has been trying to get permission to release the security videos of that night. Can you even possibly imagine?? I mean, seriously, first to just go through what she, and the others went through that horrible night is unthinkable, but then - to have it released on the local news, any media outlet, youtube....ughhhhh...I find it disgusting that they would WANT to put the victims through that trauma all over again and again and again...Luckily, Leann, posted today that she had received word from the Attorney General that he was agreed to not allow the videos to be release! Thank goodness!
#2 I applied for my first job today in over 4 years! Yikes...I applied at the La Quinta in town... to be honest - it was kind of more of a trial run that anything else...because I was so nervous! LOL It is a front desk position and only two days a week, so I dont really know how I feel about it at all really...I know that I want to rejoin the work force and save up to go to cosmetology school, but I am not sure what I want to do. Part-time is very practical for me...the kids in daycare only twice a week..I love that idea, but I was hoping to make enough money to pay the car payment, insurance, daycare, gas, and up the savings on the kids college accounts...and the floor fund and put money aside for cosmetology school. I would really like to own my shop...have a chain sometime in the future, be my own boss, make my own schedule....anyway, thats later down the road
#3 Landry is eating 4 containers of food per day! Jeepers Creepers!!! she has cereal (cheerios or puffs) for breakfast, the a vegetable and fruit for lunch and then another vegetable and fruit for dinner! It's funny because I weighed her this morning and she is up to 17.8 pounds!! (I did the math wrong about 2 weeks ago, and told a friend of mine - Nikki- that she weighed 23 pounds...oops!) When I weighed her last week she was 17.4 pounds and I about flipped out...I called JR and was like - she lost 6 pounds in a week! Oh my god, oh my god....I am taking her to the ER...He told me to calm down, explaining that she has been acting happy and healthy and it wasn't possible...saying maybe the scale was wrong..I was like...noooo it's not. So I went to wear I wrote down her weight and I read it to him, I was like it says I weighed 134.2 and then I weighed myself with her and it said 151.6...that's 23 pounds. He was like, ummmmm no that is 17 pounds...then I just felt stupid!LOL
#4 There is soooo much to do around my house - Gross! I dont want to do it
#5 Logan is still trying to sleep on his own....its still a work in progress, but I guess only time will tell!

Cosmetology school huh? I had no idea you were interested in that. That's fun!! How long have the kids been in daycare? Do they like it? How did Logan do with the transition to life away from home?

Yeah, I have been wanting to go to cosmetology school for almost 2 years now, but it's about 6,000 dollars and I dont want to take a student loan...at least not for the full amount!
The kids haven't started daycare yet. The one Logan is signed up for doesn't start until Aug. 30 (two more weeks!!!) but I dont know if we will be doing that one because it is only two days a weeks and I am looking for a full time job.
Yes....17.8. She goes to the doctore on Thursday so we will see what the "official" weigh in is! When I told you she weighed 23 pounds, and Aiden only weighed 20...I was so shocked! Landry is so tiny, and Aiden looks bigger than her in pictures, so I started thinking I might be crazy. I was like, maybe she isn't as "small" as I think she is! LOL
