Well, there isn't really too much to say. It's Saturday and JR is working - Blah! Logan seems to have recovered from the upper respiratory infection. I am on the brink of recovery, and Landry shouldn't be too far behind. Her fever is gone, which is a sign of success, but her nose is still running like crazy and she has a horribly raspy voice and a cough. :( Her poor little legs have three bruises from where she got her shots:( So incredibly sad.
Last night, JR went to play poker with a group of friends, while I stayed home with the kids. He said he had a really good time, and that next time we will get a babysitter and both go. YAY I seriously love poker - which kind of sucks because when JR gets invited to play a game its usually just for the boys...but apparently several of the wives were there last night, so it looks like I will get to join in next time! Woohoo! While I was home last night, I finished Landry's dress...well pretty much, I just have to get the flowers on it, but that wont take anytime at all. I made her a big fluffy, toule dress for her one year pictures. We are taking them in just over two weeks so that I can put one or two on the invitations to her party. I am so excited to get her pictures taken. But I really need to get on the ball, I am supposed to be looking for a place to take them. I have the photographer, but I wanted some on-site photos instead of studio photos. I really need to drive down to Wimberley and look around. I kind of want to find something country....Logan's one years photos were so cute. We did them at the Picture People and he took some on a bale of hay with a saddle on top. In some he even wore a cowboy hat, so I thought it would be cute to kind of replicate the idea. I dont know how it will work out though...I still need to buy her some birthday clothes, for the photo shoot and because I want to get a few of the kids together, I will need to get something for Logan AND I am going to try to get a good family photo (maybe even use it for Christmas photos) so I want to find something for JR and I as well. I am trying to take advantage of this photo shoot because it costs $175 for the photo shoot, and I just want to get the most out of it, so that I dont have to pay another $175 in a couple of months for Christmas photos! LOL Not that I would, but hey...like I said, I am just going to get as many photos as possible. After all is said and done I will still have to pay to get the pictures printed....but at least I get the disc and I dont have to worry about copy rights! Whew!
Anyway, I am really excited...really, really, really excited! I can't wait for people to see the dress!
