one of many...

Okay i was going to just post a couple of posts to get caught up, because there is SO MUCH. But I am going to try to summarize everything. If it doesn't work I will break it down, other wise my blog will be nine pages! LOL
Last Friday I took the kids to the river with my sister and her kids, plus her friend Evelyn and her son, and then another friend Heather. My neice, Isabella had her last day of school and they had a 12:00 release! The plan was to meet at the San Marcos HEB at 2...I guess I got my wires crossed because we left HEB at almost 3:00 and Randi informs me that we are going to the park because we have to meet at Eveleyn's house at 3:30....I was a little upset because I was planning on being home by 5. I think that people sometimes forget that I have two little ones...and while Logan can totally hang in there, Landry is still an infant and needs to be able to sleep. Anyway, we got to Evelyn's house, and I waited in the car, since both my kids were sleeping, until Randi came out to tell me they were waiting on their friend Heather...Landry was waking up so I took the kids in and made a bottle for Landry. When Heather showed up, my sister runs out to tell her something...All I hear is, "My sister is hear so we cant do that, sorry..." then some more murmurs. I am thinking - what in the hell are they doing? Then Heather and Evelyn let it slip that my sister had brought my kids over to her house last Wednesday when she was babysitting for us. Now I try really hard not to make snap judgements of people, and that was my first time meeting the two women, but I have to admit that I already had an idea of who they were. My sister came home drunk and stoned every single time she went over to Evelyn's house, and it never bothers her to drive in that condition EVEN when HER kids are in the car. I absolutely kills me...then to find out that she took MY kids over there and NEVER said a word...OMG! Words can not even express the way I feel. So after talking it over with JR we decided that she isn't allowed to watch our kids anymore, and while it may be convenient - it just isn't safe.
Anyway we got to the river around 4:45. It took a while for me to blow up the kids floaties. We finally got in the water and had a great time. I was happy we went to a park that didn't allow alcohol....and yet my sister and her friends didn't care. Logan completely flipped out getting into the water. He is such a scaredy cat. Landry was kicking her legs and having a blast. Once we got away from the bank of the river, Logan was fine...he ended up falling asleep! It was so relaxing and so wonderful. Then, Landry started to get hungry and sleepy, so I headed to the bank and got the kids out. I fed Landry, got dry clothes on them and started to pack the car...only to see my sister and her friends down in the river smoking a joint....AHHHHHHHHHHH....I waved goobye, and got out of there....happy that my kids did so well in a trying situation, and disappointed in my sister.
Yep....this is going to be broken up...I will tell about the weekend in the next post.
