Hump Day!

Well this week has been pretty busy so far! Monday was my birthday. I didn't do much of anything but lay on the couch. I have been so exhausted for the last several days and I have tried to take evry opportunity to lay down and rest. At 6:30 on Monday I could barely keep my eyes open and JR told me to just go to bed. I couldn't because I was so hungry and I knew that I would most likely wake up at 4 in the morning and not be able to get back to sleep. So I fought through it and went to bed at 10. JR was so nice...he cooked dinner and took care of the kids so that I could be lazy all day! Yay! Happy birthday to me!
Tuesday the contractors started to put the frame up on the house next door, so I was up at 6:30...After just having gotten up with Landry at 4:30. IT wouldn't have been so bad, but Logan snuck into our room in the middle of the night so I went to his room...which is on the side of the house where these seem to be hammering right outside his window! Ughhh...So, I woke up tired again. JR got to come home early and let me take a nap, so I slept from 3:30 to 6:30...which was not my intention at all but it sure felt good! I got up and made dinner, ate and watched some TV, while JR left to go help a friend move. OH YEAH, I also finally got to go get my wedding band and engagement ring from the jeweler. I was starting to wonder if I would ever get them back! They are so pretty, and they look brand new! I love getting them plated...I am going to try to do better about taking them when I shower or wash dished...but we will just have to see! Anyway, I went to bed about 11:30, Landry got up at 4. I fed her and changed her and she went right back to sleep. At 6:45 this morning....I was again woken up to the sound of hammering, drilling, and general banging around! Landry was up at 7:00! I am tired...and I have no idea why!
THREE more days until the float trip! I am so excited!
We found out yesterday that the river we were going to float has been closed through Sunday...YIKES! But no problem, we would go to the guadalupe, but my nephew Davin is going (he will be 4 in August) and you must be 5 years or older to float there...SOOOOO, we are going to the San Marcos - which works pretty well due to the fact that they dont have as many rules as the other rivers and we can bring whatever size cooler we want. At the comal it has to be no larger than 16 qts...which holds about 20 beers...or 14 - 15 with ice! And lets face it....ice is good!
