Super Fun Weekend!!!!! (Friday events)

First, can I just say that Landry's birthday is 18 days away and I have planned nothing yet! Yikes...I guess I should send out some evites - since I won't have time to order invites...wow, it really kind of snuck up on me! Yup...its a bad mommy moment...but after this weekend - it shouldn't matter because she had A LOT of fun!
We had a super fun fantastic weekend! A month ago, my sister - in - law turned 30 but because her son's birthday is 5 days before hers and her mother was getting married the same weekend, she decided to postpone her birthday party until this past weekend. We weren't sure if we were going to be able to make it, and we had basically gone back and forth about it. Two weeks ago, they cancelled the whole trip. Then, I talked to Lisa on Wednesday, and she said that they were still going...so JR and I decided to rent a cabin at jellystone park in Waller, Texas. The football game this week was in Sealy, which is only 40 minutes from Waller, so it made perfect sense to us. JR took off work on Friday, so we left our house at noon. It was a pretty smooth trip, with minimal crying from the kids. When we got checked in, the kids and I immediately put our swimsuits on to go to the water park. JR had made plans to meet up with a guy from Huntsville to sell on of his iChest coolers - I guess I haven't really blogged about that - probably because I didn't really think he would be able to sell these things- but I was wrong, so I will tell you about it later....anyway, so JR left to take care of his business and Logan, Landry, and I headed to the water park. Since there was only 1 of me and 2 of them, I limited our play area to one part that had mulitple slides. We quickly foound out, that the water is continually recycled so it has no time to just sit and warm itself in the sun...so it was freezing!! Logan was smart enough to realize that if you just keep going it isn't so cold. Landry and I went down the slides a few times and decided it was too cold! We stayed out at the park until 5:30 before heading back to the cabin. Lisa, Jason, Davin, and JR were all close to being there, so I wanted to get changed. I got the kids dressed and ready, and when JR pulled in he took the kids down to Jason's cabin so I could get ready. I stopped to say hello to Jason and Lisa, then we got on the road to head to Sealy. The kids were worn out from the water, so the slept the whole way...HEAVEN!
I have said several times that so far this football season, we haven't had any real competition. The games have been pretty much blowouts. Well, this one was much more exciting. We ended up winning 28-27, but oh my goodness, it was a stressful game! Here are some photos of Friday, tomorrow I will fill you in on Saturday!
Logan is to the right of the red slide - he had such a great time

The little Princess and Mommy

The Water Shower

The Princess

Every 5 - 10 minutes there would be a horn sound, and the basket at the top would dump over to the side...pretty awesome!

You Can't see him because of the splash - but that's Logan!

Logan on the yellow slide - I think the green was his favorite from Friday

Me and the kiddos - I can't believe we had so much fun together. They were so good and listened to me. It's amazing how much fun you can have when your children are behaving! LOL

My Prince Charming! I was so proud of him this weekend.

My pretty, pretty princess. I don't know if it's because there was so much going on, or what, but she kept the tantrums to a minimum this weekend!

Cheering for her Papaw, and the Texans!

He is so silly! The Loganator!

Landry and Katie (Dana's Boyfriend's daughter) Katie turned 2 in June, and I think Landry was confused to have someone her own age around her. She kept going and staring at Katie..it was pretty funny.

She would stand in front of the cheerleaders and follow along with them....I guess it worked because they gave her a bag of candy! LOL
