Weight accomplished!

So I am at 147 pounds - which is what I weighed before I got pregnant with Landry!!!!! Yayayayayayayay! I said that my goal weight was 145, but I decided to change it to 140. I cant go any lower than that because, #1 it wouldn't be healthy and #2 I would look sick. As it is, I have very long arms and legs, yet my torso isn't very long, so I look a little gangly! I also have an incredibly long neck and slender face which looks a little unsettling when I start to lose weight! LOL Basically I look like a 12 year old going through that awkward phase!!! I am really proud of myself for losing the weight, and its nice that I haven't really done anything to lose it. I just started working out on Monday, so that isn't it. The reason I started to work out is so that I can tone up all the flab!!!!!! Basically starting at the top of my knees all the way up to my rib cage is just a mess! I have had flab on my belly since ummmmm...senior year, so that I am used to. I know that I can get some of it off, but I also know that some will still be there, and I am okay with that. My ass and the back of my legs however.....Absolutely not! I played sports in high school and find myself to be a pretty athletic person...but for the last 4 years I haven't exactly been the pillar of fitness. Add on this last pregnancy with Landry - and my backside has really taken a hit! This is in fact what inspired me to start working out....I got out of the shower on Sunday night...and went EWWWWWWW! So, instead of complaining and bitching about how gross my butt and legs look...I set my alarm and got up and started in on the problem.!
I am hoping that I can get myself toned up by my Anniversary March 17! All I can do is work at it.
I played wii tennis yesterday for 30 minutes, and let me tell you, I was sweating all over...it was the best cardio EVER! Today I got back to yoga and strength exercises....my legs still hurt so badly but I pushed through and did those dang squats and lunges anyway...owwww! I really want to RUN! I actually miss running - although my knees dont handle it so well! I am hoping to find a treadmill on craigslist or something that is reasonably priced. And maybe do some running at the track on the weekends. We will see!
Anyway...I hope that I can keep up the hard work! I usually start off really well, and then stop after a couple of weeks...I guess we will see! I guess thats why I want a work out buddy so badly...someone to keep me motivated!!!
Anywho, Happy hump day everyone!
Oh by the way....JR will be at 44.5 hours at the end of the day! woohoo...if next week stays clear of rain, we will see a pretty pretty paycheck! Here's hoping - fingers crossed!
