Addicted...

Okay, so I think I am officially addicted to Farm Town on Facebook...its all I can think about...
My mom and I dont really talk all that much, I mean I call to check in with her and see how everything is going about once a week, but she never calls me, and we dont talk for very long...last night however I started a chat with her on facebook and we talked for about 30 minutes...pretty much about farm town but still I thought it was funny that we were talking! She is way more addicted than I am...she even sets her alarm to go off in the middle of the night if there are crops to be harvested...NOw see, I think thats borderline crazy, but oh well! I told her my sleep was far too valuable! Anyway, I am starting to get the hang of facebook, or at least making a good effort!
I cant remember if I already said this, but we are going to look at houses tomorrow morning (if we hear back from the realtor!!!) Then we are going to our nephew's 3rd birthday party! I am a little concerned because JR told me they are renting a 17 foot water slide...I dont want Logan to miss out on fun, but 17 feet is VERY Tall for such little people...not to mention there is some rope thing on the side that you have to climb to get to the top....I dont know of any 3 year olds that can pull themselves up a rope, but I guess we will see. Also, They dont have any grass in their yard so I am a little worried about the sliding into the mud thing...I think it could definitely be a major accident waiting to happen! However, I am going to give it a good look and watch the other kids before determining that Logan can or cannot go on it...maybe JR was exaggerating or just trying to get me riled up....I just feel kind of bad because I know that Lisa (Davin's mom) already thinks that I am strict. I am really not...I promise, but I have always believed that there is good natured fun and fun that can get someone hurt, and I choose to opt out of fun that someone will get hurt...I guess this is why my sisters always called me the "fun police" growing up...I never wanted to do things where I thought would end in disaster, and now I am doing the same thing with my child. Maybe I should let him....I mean sometimes no one gets hurt, but I just cant get past the idea of allowing my child to do something that I know is potentially dangerous. Plus, I dont want to go to the ER! I think there will be plenty of time for that later...he isn't even 2 1/2 yet!!!
Do you think I am being overprotective????

Okay enough rambling I have to go check my crops!

LOL! You didn't say anything about the mud the other day. Was it not a problem then?
