sick and annoyed

So, I tried to let JR come to terms with Landry doing gymnastics on his own...but, I realized yesterday that he had no intention of seeing the good in it. SO - I informed him, he didn't really get a say. She was doing it, my mind is made up. He wasn't really happy about it, but crap, he went golfing about a month and a half ago and is going again this Saturday. The two trips together cost half of what it would cost to put her in gymnastics for 10 weeks (which is $205...really it's $270 because there is a $65 registration fee). Anyway, like I said, the decision is made. She is doing it, so that's that.

On another note, I have not been feeling so hot. It's not my tummy troubles, its more like a lingering migraine. I started Monday with a spectacular headache. It lasted all day and just got worse and worse. Tuesday I woke up, and it felt much better, but by noon it was back full force. By the time I went to pick Logan up from school it was moving into migraine status. I started getting weak and nauseous. The sun felt like needles being driven into my eyeballs. Even the sound of the engine running felt like an earthqauke in my head. I took medicine and tried to make it through. Wednesday was pretty much torture. After dropping off Logan at school, I came home and basically hid my head under a pillow. When Landry feel asleep for her nap, I took her into my closet with me and laid in the darkness. Even her breathing was too loud, but I didn't feel comfortable knowing that if she woke up, she wouldn't know to come find me in the closet. After picking up Logan, I thought I was going to die. The kids were so loud and I ended up throwing up. When JR got home we had out discussion about gymnastics, and then I felt like I was going to vomit so I went upstairs to lay down. I fell asleep at 5:30, and didn't get up until 6:30 this morning. So, 13 hours of sleep. ON a good note, I woke this morning with only a mild headache and my entire body felt like it had been put through some sort of crazy contraption because it HURT ALL OVER. The good news is my head feels so much better. I took some aleve, and my bones and muscles dont hurt quite so much as they did when I woke up, so I'm on the way to recovery thank goodness. Hopefully it just goes up from here!
