Rainy Day

Hmmm... the swelling in my right foot has gotten pretty bad, I am happy to be going to the doctor tomorrow, although I am sure she will just tell me its normal. I have also been getting up much more to go to the bathroom during the night...I know that I could cut down on these trips if I would stop taking a glass of water with me to bed, but I wake up and I am so incredibly thristy. I would rather wake up every hour to pee than to be that thristy. JR has a hard time sleeping when the air isn't being circulated and the new house doesn't have ceiling fans (except in the living room) so we use a floor fan, that really helps, but now he is comlaining that it dries out his throat! I am wondering if that is why I am so thirsty, I also wonder if it is the fan or if he is coming down with something! I have gained so much weight, that I literally haven't stepped on the scale since my last appointment, 2 weeks ago, and I keep putting it off. Tomorrow I go back to the doctor...I am not excited about having to drive so far in the rain, but oh well...Only 3 more weeks from Thursday! After my appointment tomorrow I am heading to Galveston...first I am stopping at the La Marque Post Office to see if I can find out what is going on with our mail. I am getting very irritated every time I get a phone call or email from a friend or family member asking if I have received their card....ummmm, nope I haven't. The mail is supposed to be being forwarded to the new address, but that is not the case. I have sent out several thank you cards, I just hope those are making their way out since things dont seem to be coming in...except for the bills of course! After the post office, I will probably go see my grandmother for a bit, and then I am going to my Mother-in-laws to get Dezi Lu and the puppies. THey are going to be staying here for a week (until next wednesday) so that people can come look at them and to give Carol a little break. I am so excited to have them here. I love them all so much I dont want to let them go. Anyway, it will be a busy day. Today I am going to clean the floors, and try to take it easy...right after I go run some errands...ughh... I am already sleepy just thinking of it all...plus the rainy weather always makes me want to sleep!
