The weekend is over and it is back to the every day mundane schedule that is my life. Friday was pretty tame...I spent most of the day at my grandparents house...but more on that later. JR and I went out to dinner...I seriously cant remember the last time we ate at a restraunt together. Afterwards we headed to HEB to get supplies for Saturday.
Saturday we got to the beach about 11:30 and didn't get home until 6:30...so I guess you could say we had a long day at the beach! We had so much fun. The day didn't start so well. My sister-in-law's dog died that morning, so that was really sad. Sometimes I feel like people are really hard on Brittany and I could see that she was really upset about the situation, and I guess the Mama Bear in me wanted to stick up for her. The rest of the day was great, every one seemed to have a good time...I think everyone got sunburned! Ha! Except for Logan...I reapplied his 70+ SPF constantly, so he stayed protected. I stayed pretty protected, except for the backs of my legs...grrr! Oh well! It is already pretty much gone! After the beach we all showered and changed and met up at Joes Crabshack on the Seawall. All in All...it was a great day.
Sunday, I headed to community service and JR and Logan slept in...After they got up, they went to Home Depot to buy some supplies for getting our dogs OUTSIDE!!! YAY! Dexter and Dezi Lu are driving me crazy...I will take them out to potty and as soon as we come in they will pee and poop in the house!!! AHHHHH!. Dezi Lu is about to go into heat so Dexter is going around the house marking his territory on EVERYTHING! So we finally made a place outside where the dogs can play. There were several place where they could get out of the yard so we got all that fixed up.
Today the appraiser came by at 11:00 and said that he should have the report written up by tomorrow afternoon, so thats nice that we dont have to wait so long. I am thinking that he is going to appraise it somewhere around 70,000...which is good. Walter is asking 85,000 which I think is way over-priced. He did say that it was over-priced but he didn't say exactly what he was going to appraise it at. I am hoping it isn't anything higher than 70,000....but it would be awesome if it was at 60 - 65,000. I am trying to decide now if I also want to may for an inspection. I hate paying all this money for something that we may not even go through with, but if we get it inspected we will have more bargaining power to get him to lower the price...now we just have to figure out how to get him to lower the interest rate which is at 9.5 %.
